@ElderofSmoke

I first want to know if it's fully on disc. If it is, I'll pick it up in the near future.

Valor Mortis’s premise and gameplay design is right up my alley. It looks decent to be fair. @IkariX, are you picking up a copy?

Must-have physicals for me are - can be on any platform, but I'd buy these the moment they're announced:

End of Abyss
Phantom Blade Zero
The Drifter
Mina the Hollower
Look Outside
Silver Pines
No Rest for the Wicked

@Cathal

That's a bummer. I might give it a pass then. As much as I love Metro, this is just dumb

Their feedback on someone asking if the game will be on disc:

"METRO 2039 will require an initial download as the game does not fit fully on one disc. To make sure our community gets to experience the game at the same time, you will need an internet connection initially to unlock the game. The game does not otherwise require internet."

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Release Date Moved Up to November 10th

by Sam Aberdeen on 09 September, 2020

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Valhalla is one of the most anticipated games for the remainder of 2020, with the title garnering plenty of attention due to its new focus on the Viking era and a continuation of the RPG principal design that built the previous two games in the series. Ubisoft previously announced that the title would launch on November 17th, just a couple of days before the launch of arguably the biggest gaming release of the year, Cyberpunk 2077. Now, following the announcement of the Xbox Series X release date, Ubisoft have announced that the release date has been moved up to November 10th.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla's new release date is now November 10th, 2020, confirmed by Ubisoft shortly after the announcement of the Xbox Series X pricing and release date. This accomplishes two things for the game: it will now release as an enticing launch title for the next generation Xbox consoles, and will also remove itself from the Cyberpunk 2077 release week where it would've had to compete with CD Projekt Red's anticipated RPG. Now, with more breathing room, plenty of fans are expressing their excitement in not having to flip coins in the store.

November is proving to be a pretty crowded month for gaming. So far, we have a few big titles already confirmed for the month, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077, Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, Dirt 5, and possibly PS5's launch titles which include Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Godfall. To add a little more fuel to the fire, we previously reported that Ubisoft are planning on announcing a Prince of Persia remake at tomorrow's Ubisoft Forward event, which also apparently has a November release date. Considering that's also the month in which both the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will launch, it possibly marks the busiest time of the year for gaming.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla launches on November 10th, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, with free upgrades to PS5 and Xbox Series X.

@teb - do you primarily play them on PC? I must say I have never had those launch issues, even with unity, when playing the AC games on launch. Maybe I'm just lucky but it seems to be a predominantly AC PC thing?

November is Cyberpunk, nuff said!!

Nah, it's moved to November 2021. Learned a long time ago not to buy The AssCreed games on launch. Hope this one plays well out of the box though...
