The Nexus Hub is Gauteng's leading destination in all things gaming and geek. Our retail division offers the latest in gaming and pop culture products be it video games, board games, comics, collectables and more... However our venue is more than just the products we offer, it's about our community and the hobbies they love, and that is where the Nexus Hub truly shines.
The The Nexus Hub venue offers a fully outfitted LAN Section, an Events Hall that plays host to expanded LAN tournaments as well as weekly Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments, Quiz Nights, Board Game Evenings and Dungeons & Dragons events, and a Café designed to meet the needs of our passionate community.
Primed as a content creation hub, The Nexus Hub offers live-streaming services, short form productions, editorial content - be it reviews, event coverage or related media - through our dedicated Nexus Digital staff and an in house studio space. These services allow brands to further expand their Event impact and capitalize on event content exposure for their social media platforms, websites and newsletters.

Tabletop
SA’s premiere destination for Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Pokémon and Board Gaming. Our Hub allows us to host the largest tabletop game nights in Gauteng. Bring your favorite game, or make use of our demo sets made available at our venue to play with friends or family. This also allows customers and attendees to make more informed product purchases. These recurring events feature many regular faces and communities and typically feature groups keen to welcome new players involved in their hobbies.

Workshops
The Nexus Hub hopes to be one of the main destinations for all things geeky and crafty. We offer workshops with industry professionals and celebrities. These workshops are aimed at cosplay, figure painting and sculpting, and PC building.
Venue Hires
We have a number of private and comfortable spaces on our premises that are fully available for renting out. We have enjoyed the company of many a D&D Campaign and Private Tournaments or Parties. The spaces are also perfect for the use of workshops and education.
With highly trained and hard-working Nexus Hub staff, we aim to take the burden of planning a successful event off of the shoulders of our clients with our team providing a streamlined experience via detailed planning, event itineraries and integrated systems.

The Nexus Hub can be hired out to a separate venue / function. We have been seen at rAge and ICON yearly. We have partnered with brands like PlayStation and Acer in the past, and this has assured only the most enjoyable experiences mix through. Corporate functions usually include our Gaming Experience Equipment and highly competent employees to make sure The Nexus Hub can bring the fun to you.
The Nexus Hub also offers external activations at your own venue various themed activities be it tabletop gaming, Tech experiences or gaming events our team will help craft the event required to meet your objectives, even offering catering where needed.
The Nexus Hub has had a stall at rAge and ICON alike. We usually provide our best in retail stock, with friendly and helpful staff assisting any patrons. We have been known to offer experiences such as PSVR and Table Realms scavenger hunts.
