Sam is a writer at Nexus who spends most of his time in a blissful daze, thinking up ways to start that long-awaited book he may or may not ever complete. Apart from discarding drafts, he enjoys reading, watching Jurassic Park on repeat, gaming, and anime in his spare time. It all really started with a game called Crash Bandicoot on PlayStation that left a lasting impression on him, and from then on, gaming had grown to secretly consume him.
He enjoys a plethora of games, but gravitates towards ones with great single-player campaigns and memorable stories. He believes gaming is an underrated medium for compelling storytelling, often able to convey what other mediums can't. Sam's been deeply moved by games like Shadow of the Colossus and Final Fantasy VII, and desperately wants to invent a time machine so he can pick up the remake in the future.
Apart from that, Sam watches buckets of anime on a weekly basis and likes to sit at coffee stores reading detective and horror novels - much to the dismay of concerned waiters.
