Andrew was first introduced to videogames at an arcade in Amanzimtoti at the age of four and has never looked back. Even during a few early and misguided schooling years sampling sports and other outdoor activities, he has always had a console or PC ready for gaming. Andrew is primarily a fan of single-player games with strong storytelling mechanics that provide context to gameplay mechanics. He will occasionally dabble in online titles, specifically cooperative games. Couch co-op is his favourite form of socialising.
While plenty of his favourite titles involve looking at the game-world down the barrel of a gun, he’s a big fan of games that encourage stealth, dialogue, or other nonviolent gameplay mechanics. If he had to pick a favourite, it would be western RPGs of all types, be they turn-based or real-time, and from any viewpoint: old-school isometric, third-person, or first-person.
Andrew goes by Lurch on the forums.
Enjoys games with awesome stories and characters, along with new and interesting hardware. Dislikes day-one patches and driver updates.
