Andrew was first introduced to videogames at an arcade in Amanzimtoti at the age of four and has never looked back. He is primarily a fan of single-player games with strong storytelling to back up the mechanics - just don't make him put down the controller for 15 minutes at a time to watch cutscenes. He will occasionally dabble in online titles (almost always PvE-style cooperative games) and is often playing something old alongside new titles.
While many of his favourite titles involve no shortage of carnage, he loves any game that offers stealth, dialogue, or other nonviolent gameplay mechanics. If he had to pick a favourite genre, it would be a battle between immersive sims and CRPGs of all types, be that turn-based or real-time-with-pause, and from any viewpoint: old-school isometric, third-person, or first-person.
