Rob is a freelance writer at Nexus Hub and PR Associate with ASUS ZA (private messages are open for inquiries @Rob_Osiris). 80% of the time he is fixating on which words are better to use when he writes, correcting everyone’s grammar, and proclaiming the importance of an Oxford comma. When Rob isn’t gaming, he is reading about gaming and fantasy novels, pretending to be a MotoGP racer, buying novelty clothing, and promising that one day he will finish The Witcher 3. Occasionally, you can catch him moving heavy weights and eating gummy bears.
Rob moved back into PC gaming after being a console fanboy for close to 10 years, and has now realised just how much 60fps matters. He gravitates towards open-world RPGs, shooters, racing, and great narrative stories with severe consequences based on choices. Gun to his head, Horizon: Zero Dawn, the Mass Effect trilogy, and Assassin’s Creed (pre-AC3) he will always keep.
Loves games with deep character development and a rich storyline. Also, shooty-shooties. Loathes microtransactions. Likes to use sarcasm and metaphors.
