I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).
I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens
On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.
I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

Dirty Work - Norm MacDonald film with Chris Farley (and Bob Saget directing). All gone too soon.
Joshua Tree - serviceable Dolph Lundgren from the early 90s.
Last of the Finest - OK 90s crime film.
Death Wish 2-5 - 2 is still a nasty film but 3-5 which I had never seen before just go more ludicrous (and dare I say more fun).
Hamlet - Riz Ahmed's modern version. Interesting.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - rewatch before leaving Netflix. Can't believe it's been 26 years. Still awesome.
The Hunt - rewatch. Still a great underrated film.
The 15:17 to Paris - boring
Woman of the Hour - decent.
The Cleaner - OK
Iron Sky - always wanted to watch this. Decent given it's limited budget (it's on Amazon Prime).
The Professionals - good 60s film. Never seen it before. Western set in 1910s
Minions and Monsters - Minions vs Cthulhu. Surprisingly good.
Jackass: Best and Last - the third 'last' film but still mostly funny.
Supergirl - OK not as bad as I was expecting. Milly Alcock was good in lead but I preferred the one from the Flash film. Little sidekick was also good.
End of Oak Street - fun film.
Death of Robin Hood - jeez this was bleak. Probably more accurate telling of any real Robin Hood.
Evil Dead Burn - a bit too much, was hoping Ash would arrive and bring some much needed irreverence to the proceedings.
American Psycho - rewatch, still a classic.
Game Night - rewatch, very underrated comedy.

The Predator
Just as bad as I remember.
Shane Black screwed the pooch.
Terrible casting, no need for the kid.
Too many unnecessary jokes & F bombs.

Way better.
Loved the new back in time location, the franchise should have carried on like this.
Only now realized that flintlock pistol is the same one from Predator 2!

To be charitable, there were clearly some good ideas on paper about how to link the RE1 and RE2 narratives into the same timespan. I also appreciated some almost 1-to-1 recreation of scenes from the games.
Everything else was dire. Characterisation changes are fine but the acting was rubbish aside from maybe Claire. Set quality and CGI quality was variable. Nothing happens for half the movie then everything happen to characters we barely meet for a minute. I wonder how people who never played the games made sense of it.
