So good!!

Bon Cop, Bad Cop 1 and 2 - decent fun. Bilingual Canadian cop film with 10+ year gap between films.

The Royal Tenenbaums - still a great watch.

Futureworld - sequel to original Westworld. Gwyneth Paltrow's mother is one of leads. Decent.

Horsemen - meh Seven clone from same time period.

The People that Land Forgot - OK. Doug McClure cameo (apparently his daughters called him Troy after the Simpsons parody, thanks Amazon x-ray).

Go tell the Spartans - decent anti-war film set in Vietnam when US were still only advisors.

Greenland 2 - what a disappointment. Loved the first film but this was a slog despite being only 90 or so minutes.

Mother Mary - weird. Enjoyed the director's previous 'mind @#$%' that was The Green Knight but this? Not so much.

The Grand Budapest Hotel - still Anderson's finest film.

Darjeeling Limited - beautifully shot but every time I watch it seems more soulless.

Elektra - still mediocre.

The Old Ways - decent horror (Mexican)

Great movie!
Just shows you, if you stick to the source material you can make a great adaptation. Same as MK2.

Jurassic Park
CGI & practical effects have aged so well.

The Lost World Jurassic Park
My least favourite out of the original trilogy, but still good.

My second favourite Jurassic Park movie.

Ted 2
Not as good as the first one.

Supergirl 2026
Lazy writing & very predictable.
If it wasn't for Lobo, I would have fallen asleep.
& Lobo was just ok.

Mortal Kombat 2 - excellent especially so given the lacklustre first film. The epitome of good fanservice. Updated with some great modern pop culture references. "I thought this was a proper tournament with rules not some Squid Game murder BS".

The Core - rewatch, decent but CGI has not aged well at all.

Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects - 1989 Bronson film. Try to bribe this guy with a watch and it's getting shoved up/down one of your orifices. A film that couldn't be made today for sure.

Jackass Best and Last

Pretty Lethal - great, better ballerina revenge film than Ballerina. Made by the same people but it's not in the John Wick universe.

White Lightning - terrific. Archer's favourite film (IYKYK).

Ronin - still awesome.

Eureka - weird film set on a real life unsolved murder. Very young Rutger Hauer stars.

52 Pickup - great.

Some 80s revenge films Malone (decent) , Eye of the Tiger (OK) and Wild Thing (crap).

Amazing how many of these 80s action films have some far right MAGA like loonies as the baddies who get brutally slaughtered by an all American flag waving hero.

Heat - decent Burt Reynolds 80s action film (see first comment).

Avenging Force - Michael Dudikoff is hunted by (see top comment) in New Orleans swamp (sound familiar? This however was made 6-7 years before Hard Target, apparently from same source - a short story).

Assassination - Bronson film. OK.

Gator - OK sequel to the much better White Lightning.

Amsterdam - strange film but decent.

Watched The Blade Runner films in preparation for the TV series. Both still excellent. Can you believe the second film is already nine years old. What I will mention is that comics expand a lot of the lore e.g. Gaff is a good guy, LUV was a combat replicant. Strongly recommended if you're a Blade Runner fan (Alcon/Titan series).

Handmaid's Tale - film. More an interesting oddity as the TV series is much better. That scene where nuns were being hauled off to be handmaids though.

Forest - decent horror set in the suicide forest (Aokigahara). Did laugh at the Aussie. 'We have centipedes more dangerous than anything in this forest'.

A Prayer for the Dying - decent film.

Wind Chill - weird Emily Blunt horror film from nearly twenty years ago.

Breakdown - still an awesome and criminally underrated film.

AI Race (2026) - interesting ABC (Australia documentary). Those poor families living next door to all that white noise (yes they were there before the DC).

Ordinary Men: Forgotten Holocaust - shocking. These were normal Germans not Nazi fanatics. Not for the faint hearted.

The Crow City of Angels
Obviously not as good as the original, but still better then the ones that followed.

Disclosure Day - hmm. Good start and has a decent ending but is all of the place for most of the film. Too many dumb moments and subpar VFX.

Backrooms - this was good, would watch again.

Humanoids from the Deep - OK.
