Technically not illegal, just a failsafe for if/when Ubisoft eventually shutters its servers, patches and updates can remain autonomous.

@KF500 some boards will collect those patch files separately from the game and let you download them. So bypassing the need to go online through Ubisoft to get the patch. I've seen similar workarounds with Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk.

Friday will be the last day we can take orders for those products.

PC versions of Black Flag have been patched to work offline apparently.

@DarkwingDuck They did say Forza 6 will hit PS5 this year, my best guess is November (six months after Xbox and PC)

AC Black Flag Resynced Collectors Edition is on its way! Can't wait to play it, looks incredible. Also got Tokyo Xtreme on PS5 - tired of waiting for Forza 6 lol

Well the only thing so far I can think of that was maybe a force for good with the power being off(still is). And my Switch 2 battery being dead is. I wasn’t able to get my fix of Tomodachi Life. Maybe taking a few days break is a good thing. Because Tomodachi Life is way way too addictive and by addictive I mean that I haven’t been obsessed with a game like this for a long long time. Last time I was this addicted to a game was Fantasy Life on the 3DS back in the day
