@Phreak

It was me, I brought the site down. But @Tea struck a bargain with me to bring the site back online.

What did it take to get me to give them back the site? It's simple, ALL THE GAMES

I just wanna say, one of the most frustrating things about living in South Africa was the limited access to physical media - names like BT/Koodoo/etc stocked the "usual" stuff (FIFA, CoD, etc), but the niche stuff was always a PITA to source. Before, I used to hunt down gaming stores whenever I travelled to pick up these niche titles - then I took to Amazon US/JP to import the stuff - it's really refreshing that Nexus Hub gets all these products available locally, so even though the average pricing is a little higher and there's always a shipping cost, I'll always support you guys - thanks for what you do!
Maybe you can also start importing smartphones like Sony or OnePlus next!

I still can't get over the fact that the Legend Of Zelda Switch 2 Pro controller is such a nice looking controller.

@Tea

It has the early ending, there is technically another early ending as well. Don't want to spoil the other early ending.

But I have strategically made saves now, so I can see all the endings.

And then I'm going to let the timer run out, and do the last few side quest. Yes, the timer running out is not the end of the game.

BlizzCon 2026: All the Biggest Announcements

by Community Guest Writer on 14 September, 2026

    1

After taking a three-year break, BlizzCon has finally returned, and Blizzard had plenty to announce.

The 2026 show brought major news across almost every Blizzard franchise, including the announcement of Diablo V, the long-awaited return of StarCraft, a new permanent version of World of Warcraft, new content for Warcraft III and Overwatch, and even Diablo IV coming to Nintendo Switch 2.

Here’s a quick rundown of the biggest announcements from BlizzCon 2026.

Diablo V is Officially Happening

Let’s start with the big one. Blizzard has officially announced Diablo V, which is currently targeting a spring 2029 release.

The game takes place in a Sanctuary that has already fallen, with Diablo having defeated the world’s heroes and humanity struggling to survive. Players will take on the role of the Heir to Westmarch and explore a Sanctuary being reshaped by the Lord of Terror.

Three classes have been revealed so far: the returning Demon Hunter and Monk, alongside the new Plague Knight. Blizzard is still keeping most details under wraps, but more information is expected throughout 2027.

StarCraft is Back

StarCraft fans have waited a long time for this one.

Blizzard announced STARCRAFT, a new game set in the Koprulu Sector. However, it isn’t the RTS sequel many fans have been hoping for. Instead, Blizzard is developing an open-world shooter, currently scheduled for spring 2030.

It’s certainly an unexpected direction for the franchise, but after years of StarCraft sitting on the sidelines, it’s good to see Blizzard doing something with it again.

World of Warcraft Goes Forever

Blizzard is adding a third permanent version of World of Warcraft with World of Warcraft: Forever.

Based on the original Vanilla version of WoW, Forever isn’t simply another Classic server. It introduces new stories, three new zones, more than 1,000 quests, nine dungeons and two raids.

There’s also a new playable race called the Skyborne, while the level cap remains at 60.

Forever launches on 4 November 2026, with the beta starting 17 September.

Midnight Continues With Eclipse

Modern World of Warcraft isn’t being forgotten either.

Blizzard announced Eclipse, the next major update for Midnight, which continues the story surrounding Xal’atath and her attempt to claim Azeroth’s Worldsoul.

The update will eventually lead into The Last Titan, the final chapter of the Worldsoul Saga.

Blizzard also confirmed that The Last Titan will take players back to Northrend, with more information coming in early 2027.

Warcraft III Gets New Story Content

This was probably the announcement nobody expected.

Warcraft III: Reforged is getting an entirely new campaign called Forsaken Kingdom, more than 23 years after the original game launched.

The campaign explores the fall of Lordaeron and the rise of the Forsaken, including Sylvanas’ story and the origins of the Undercity.

It’s part of the new 3.0 update, which also includes a graphics overhaul and improvements to the World Editor.

And the best part? It’s available now.

Overwatch Celebrates 10 Years

Overwatch is entering its second decade with a new hero and plenty of changes.

The biggest addition is Doctrine, a new vampire-inspired Support hero who uses life-draining abilities and bat-like drones.

He’s arriving with Season 5, alongside the new Watchpoint: Grimsvötn map.

Blizzard is also significantly reworking Sombra and Roadhog, while Season 5 will conclude the first year-long narrative arc, The Reign of Talon.

Another Overwatch Spotlight is planned for February 2027, where Blizzard will reveal what’s next.

Diablo IV Gets the Amazon Class

Despite Diablo V being years away, Blizzard clearly isn’t finished with Diablo IV.

The Amazon is coming to Diablo IV during the first half of 2027, bringing her iconic bow and javelin combat with her. Javelins will also become a new weapon type.

The class will feature four gameplay archetypes: Champion, Skirmisher, Ranger and Commander.

Diablo IV is also celebrating the franchise’s 30th anniversary with Season of Hell’s Legacy, which brings back the Prime Evils and Deckard Cain.

Diablo IV is coming to Switch 2

Blizzard also confirmed that Diablo IV is coming to Nintendo Switch 2.

The game launches on 15 September 2026, alongside the latest seasonal content.

Considering how well Diablo has traditionally worked on Nintendo hardware, this feels like a pretty natural fit.

Diablo is Getting a Netflix Series

Blizzard is also taking Diablo beyond games.

An animated Diablo series is in development for Netflix, although details and a release date haven’t been announced yet.

Blizzard says the project is part of a broader effort to bring its universes to new audiences through other forms of entertainment.

Hearthstone Returns to The Old Gods

Hearthstone’s next major expansion is Reign of the Black Empire, launching 20 October.

The expansion returns to the era of the Old Gods and introduces a new Assemble keyword, allowing players to combine cards to create more powerful effects.

Battlegrounds is also getting a new minion type called Aberrations on 22 September.

But the bigger long-term addition is the Monk class, which arrives in March 2027.

Heroes of the Storm Gets Xal’atath

Yes, Heroes of the Storm is still kicking around.

Blizzard announced Xal’atath as the game’s newest hero. She arrives on 28 September, with her PTR release on 14 September.

Blizzard also hinted that this isn’t necessarily the end of new Heroes of the Storm content, which will undoubtedly make the game’s remaining community very happy.
