@Dp - its actually been horrific with scalpers - We have to cross check peoples names, addresses and purchase history on niche releases as those guys buy up all the stock and resell at ridiculous prices whch are completely unfair to the normal consumer.

But yes - Pre-orders are on the increase as people realise how limited the physical edition releases of a game can now be.

We do try warn guys when we see limited availablity on new games too.

There seems to be a mass panic in buying physical games lately which is a great breeding ground for scalpers as well. I've seen a couple games release recently that have gone out of stock before release and even older titles which were readily available have all but disappeared and can only be bought at a premium price in the aftermarket. Likely going to see a big increase in pre-orders in upcoming months from people that want to secure physical copies.

Bagged a copy of Hellraiser Day 1 Edition. Game will probably be quite rare in future, print run seems limited. Folks on Reset Era say it's sold out most places.

Rumour: Death Stranding is a Timed PS4 Exclusive, Coming to PC Later

by Sam Aberdeen on 30 May, 2019

Death Stranding recently made waves in the gaming industry when it unveiled a new trailer with a surprise release date of November 8, 2019 - an announcement nobody realistically saw coming. However, while it seems like the PS4 has another heavy-hitting exclusive on their hands, another rumour has sprung up which may indicate that Death Stranding is merely a timed PS4 exclusive, and will be coming to PC at a later stage.

The supposed claim stems from Antonio Fucito, the same person who prematurely leaked the release date of Death Stranding. According to Fucito during a Twitch stream, he claimed "Death Stranding is a PS4 timed exclusive, will come to PC at a later date."

Death 8th November Stranding?
— Antonio Fucito (@Tanzen) May 28, 2019

While there's no way to verify if this is true, Fucito did accurately predict the release date of Death Stranding, so there might be some weight to this claim. However, would it make sense for Sony to invest so heavily into Kojima Productions, and previously marketing it as a PS4 exclusive, to only port it to PC at a later stage?

We recommend taking it with a grain of salt until we have further confirmation on this matter. However, industry insider Nibel has also given the topic some attention, so it's a possibility but not definite at this point.
