Sony's upcoming live-action Uncharted movie is currently in full production, with star Tom Holland recently sharing a first look at his get-up as protagonist and adventurer Nathan Drake. Seeing as this is somewhat of an origins story for Drake, though, Holland will be playing a younger version of the popular PlayStation icon - which also means we'll once again get to see his first interactions with his mentor figure, Sully, played none other than Mark Wahlberg. The actor and co-star recently shared his first behind-the-scenes look as the character, sporting that sweet mustache to boot.

Wahlberg uploaded an Instagram video this weekend showing his supposed look as Sully in the Uncharted movie. While we don't have a top-to-bottom look at the character in full costume, Wahlberg has at least sported a fitting mustache that makes him resemble a younger version of Sully. Interestingly enough, Wahlberg was actually set to play Nathan Drake in a planned Uncharted movie almost ten years ago, but the project went through development hell and it was eventually decided that the film would instead serve as a prequel to the games, with Holland being cast as a young Drake. Here's what Mark Wahlberg now looks like as Sully:



The upcoming Uncharted movie will take place before the events of the first game, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and will follow the early stages of the blooming relationship between Nathan Drake, a young amateur thief, and Sully, who meets the prodigal kid in a theft gone wrong (or right). A part of this backstory was actually featured in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, which put players in the shoes of a teenage Nathan Drake in his first encounter with Sully. We imagine this will be the blueprint for the live-action film, though it's possible that their first big adventure will spring from this fateful encounter.
