Last year, Microsoft made one of the biggest moves in gaming history after acquiring ZeniMax Media, and by extension, Bethesda and its subsidiary studios. This would essentially give Xbox exclusive rights in some shape or form to big gaming franchises like The Elder Scrolls, Doom, Dishonored and Fallout, among others. Xbox will close the deal with Bethesda in early March, which aims the clarify the extent of Xbox's exclusivity opportunities. According to an insider, Xbox will then host an event in March sometime following this deal closure, where we'll likely learn of these exclusivity plans too.

According to Venture Beat's Jeff Grubb, who is a renowned insider in the gaming industry, Microsoft is planning to hold an event in March following Bethesda's deal closure, where they will probably share the exclusivity deals and discussions. This could be a pretty important event as it might decide the fate of major franchises like The Elder Scrolls and future releases. At the moment, it's speculated that timed exclusivity plans might be in place for Xbox - potentially for a year - as it's possible that Bethesda will still choose to remain an independent publisher for multiple platforms. We can't know the exact details of this yet, but either way, it could be a big win for Xbox fans.
