Picked up the Collectors Edition of Phantom Blade 0 from China. It doesn't come with the game though so also really keen to get the disc from you guys if are importing it. Game gives me Bujingai/Blood Will Tell vibes. The statue in the CE is stunning so I couldn't resist lol

@vector - we are investigating a courier solution for customers that order frequently. We unfortuanetly are a smaller indepedent company and as such we cant always amortise costs like the larger guys. Working on it though

If you haven't tried it, Mortal Shell 2 has an open beta you can download and try. I liked it a lot as well

Beast Of Reincarnation is very easy. I'm playing on hard mode and honestly, that feels more like normal to me. Normal and Story mode are laughably easy. Even a person in a vegetative state will be able to play it on those modes.

But I think even if you play on the lower difficulties, the combat and the world traversal is still awesome.

This conversation below is interesting, I dont know whether I should now go for Mortal Shell 2 which is showing some potential here or Beast of Reincarnation

I suck at soul games so leaning more towards Beast of Reincarnation which I heard is more forgiving....

I think the 1st area of Best Of Reincarnation ruins the opening of the game. It's rather dull and seems generic. But at the end of the first chapter and some story things happen, then the game actually gets going. And the later areas are actually quite nice.

I like the combat as well and the traversal mechanics are awesome as well. Just like in Sekiro

Silent Hill IP Outsourced to "Prominent Japanese Developer"

Silent Hill has been the topic of heated rumours for the past few years now, first beginning with reports of Sony developing a PS5-exclusive Silent Hill reboot, with Siren developer Japan Studio at the helm. While we still don't have any idea if this rumour holds weight, it looks like Silent Hill is back in the spotlight again - and this time from a credible source. The recent report reveals that Konami had outsourced the Silent Hill IP to a "prominent Japanese developer", but that's not all: The Medium's Bloober Team might also be working on their own Silent Hill project too.

Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno teased that the studio had acquired a horror IP from a famous gaming publisher. "We’ve been working for more than a year on another gaming project, another horror IP, and we’re doing this with a very famous gaming publisher," he said. "I can’t tell you who. I can’t tell you what the project is, but I’m pretty sure when people realize we’re working on it, they will be very excited."

This may be the biggest indication that Bloober Team has been silently working on Silent Hill. However, this doesn't seem to be the only Silent Hill-related project in the works.

Video Games Chronicle reported that Konami had already outsourced the Silent Hill IP to a "prominent Japanese developer", with a reveal planned for this summer. This lines up with a previous slip-up from series composer Akira Yamaoka about a similar possible reveal coming this summer for "the one we're hoping to hear about".

This would mean that two Silent Hill projects are actually in the works. However, VGC was able to reveal that Supermassive Games, the developers behind the Dark Pictures Anthology and Until Dawn, were approached to pitch a Silent Hill project. It didn't pan out, but the framework was used as a blueprint for their Dark Pictures games, particularly Little Hope, which definitely echoed similarities to Silent Hill. Furthermore, the Japanese Silent Hill project is said to be departure from past Silent Hill games, but we're optimistic it's in good hands.

We'll update with more information as soon as it becomes available.

Japan Studio has an insanely long and varied development history so it would be viable.

As for Bloober Team, so many design elements in The Medium would make perfect sense in a Silent Hill game. Just hope they'll take the risk and go for actual survival-horror gameplay, rather than sticking to narrative and puzzling.
