There seems to be a mass panic in buying physical games lately which is a great breeding ground for scalpers as well. I've seen a couple games release recently that have gone out of stock before release and even older titles which were readily available have all but disappeared and can only be bought at a premium price in the aftermarket. Likely going to see a big increase in pre-orders in upcoming months from people that want to secure physical copies.

Bagged a copy of Hellraiser Day 1 Edition. Game will probably be quite rare in future, print run seems limited. Folks on Reset Era say it's sold out most places.

@HaseoVII

Yeah, they've become such a [censored] company. But luckily their hubris will eventually bring them back down to earth. Unfortunately for Sony, this time they won't have the goodwill from fans as they did during the PS3 gen. They've burnt those bridges.

Did you guys ever get The Plucky Squire? It's on my US wishlist for pretty cheap

Seeing that Laufey "collectors edition" just made me laugh and solidify my decision to never spend money on any Sony first party game ever again.

New Death Stranding Footage Confirmed for August 19th

by Sam Aberdeen on 07 August, 2019

Geoff Keighley has confirmed that Hideo Kojima will be attending Gamescom Opening Night Live, and with that comes new Death Stranding footage. Keighley took to Twitter to share the news that Kojima will be attending the event, and confirmed that there will be a new exclusive look at his upcoming title.

While this may be troubling news for those expecting Sony Interactive Entertainment to unveil more information or footage of The Last of Us: Part 2, with Death Stranding fast approaching its November release date, it's understandable why Sony would want to focus to be on their next major AAA release. It also shouldn't come as a surprise that Kojima will, once again, be reunited with Keighley, as the pair have built quite a strong and famous friendship in the past that has lead to Death Stranding appearing numerous times at The Game Awards.

Gamescom's Opening Night Live event is shaping up to be an exciting time as it resembles a kind of mini-E3, which Keighley is pretty good at putting together. The Game Awards each year dedicates time to debuting world premieres and updates on other titles together with its awards ceremony, and with E3 2019 being a bit on the lackluster side in terms of new game announcements, many people have their eyes set on this event to hopefully deliver those exciting thrills.

Death Stranding releases on November 8, 2019 exclusively for PS4.
