@ElderofSmoke

I first want to know if it's fully on disc. If it is, I'll pick it up in the near future.

Valor Mortis’s premise and gameplay design is right up my alley. It looks decent to be fair. @IkariX, are you picking up a copy?

Must-have physicals for me are - can be on any platform, but I'd buy these the moment they're announced:

End of Abyss
Phantom Blade Zero
The Drifter
Mina the Hollower
Look Outside
Silver Pines
No Rest for the Wicked

@Cathal

That's a bummer. I might give it a pass then. As much as I love Metro, this is just dumb

Their feedback on someone asking if the game will be on disc:

"METRO 2039 will require an initial download as the game does not fit fully on one disc. To make sure our community gets to experience the game at the same time, you will need an internet connection initially to unlock the game. The game does not otherwise require internet."

Assassin's Creed 2020 Will Supposedly be Set in Ancient Rome

by Sam Aberdeen on 25 February, 2019

      2

Last year, we reported that the 2020 entry in the Assassin's Creed franchise could be set in Japan - and with a pretty good reason to assume so, judging by an opening cinematic in Assassin's Creed III that may have preemptively roadmapped Ubisoft's plans for the new trilogy (consisting of Origins and Odyssey too). However, a new rumour has popped up that could suggest that Assassin's Creed's 2020 release would be heading back to a familiar location.

The information was posted anonymously on a message board on Fireden, which provides details on what the new Assassin's Creed game will entail. Supposedly, the game will be set in Ancient Rome, and take place around 193 AD; the same time in which Marcus Aurelius' reign ended, and his struggles with his son, Commodus, became known. The setting would make sense if they were to go further back in Roman history (as seen by Origins and Odyssey), though it directly contrasts the more viable evidence of the next game taking place in Japan.

The story will focus more on the First Civilization, and the game's map would feature mainland Italy as well as playable areas in Gaul and Germania. The subtitle of the game will be "Legion".

We recommend taking this with a massive grain of salt, though, as it's entirely possible that the anonymous source could be faking information. Until we hear something from Ubisoft themselves, tread lightly on this information. We do know that this next big Assassin's Creed title will only release in 2020, with this year's gap being filled by Assassin's Creed III Remastered.

I hope it doesn't personally.

Interesting idea and fits in with the Mediterranean and ancient theme for this trilogy I suppose. Still don't think it's likely, but I'm often wrong
