@Metal gear and Star wars fans - We just received confirmation from the official SA distribtuors that customs has not released the SA consignment of those releases. This affects both titles at all SA retailers.

We will keep you posted on progress - hoping to still have it for you guys for the weekend

Had the strangest thing happen just now.

Got a call and I thought it was spam but then I saw it was a legit number. So I answered and these was a lot of static and as I was about to put down I faintly heard a girl's voice.

I was a bit paranoid because I watched the Japanese version of The Ring over the weekend again. So I said, excuse me. And then she spoke.
I got such a fright, and then I started panicking, and the voice said 7 DAYS again. And I thought my life came to an end? Told the voice I don't
want to die, and I didn't do anything wrong. So the voice just said 7 days again. I went cold to my stomach. The static came and went over the phone
and I was just frozen. And I again said, I don't want to die! What did I do wrong? The voice came again on the phone through the static, 7 days..................................until Blood Of The Dawnwalker releases.

@Darkwing - yeah sometimes this happens when the collectors is created by an external company. Happened with Borderlands and a few other titles.

New Final Fantasy VII Revelation Trailer Spotlights Apocalyptic Weapons and Meteor

Last night during Gamescom Opening Night Live, Square Enix unveiled a brand new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the third and final chapter in its Remake trilogy, alongside a Spring 2027 release window. Game director Naoki Hamaguchi took the stage to unveil new footage of the apocalyptic titans known as Weapons rising from the planet, all while a world-ending meteor approaches.

According to Hamaguchi, Final Fantasy VII Revelation will feature a huge map “without boundaries”. Using the Highwind airship, players can traverse the world and instantly drop into locations via parachute. Square Enix previously stated that it would be a larger open world than the one seen in Rebirth, which is saying something because Rebirth’s world was pretty gargantuan on its own.

Additionally, we get glimpses of the enormous Weapons – many of which we’ll have to fight in a few big creative action set pieces – and more story tidbits involving Meteor approaching the planet as Sephiroth’s schemes escalate. The trailer ended by confirming Revelation will release in Spring 2027 on all platforms simultaneously, breaking the chains of its previous PlayStation exclusivity.

For fans wondering how Final Fantasy VII Revelation will link up with other media in the universe, Square Enix also previously confirmed that the game will connect with the animated movie Advent Children as well as the Vincent Valentine-centric Dirge of Cerberus. Of course, none of those links were shown in the new trailer so players will simply have to play through the game to see how everything eventually unfolds.

The description for the game reads:

“The final battle to decide the fate of the world has begun. Take to the skies, chart your course, and stand with your companions against Sephiroth one last time. A vast planet awaits. Everything leads here.”
