Nice gameplay trailer for Metro 2039. So so damn good. Metro 2033 and Last Light are such amazing games. I mean, I liked Exodus as well, but it didn't need open world zones. But still great regardless.

60FPS was also not a deal break for me given that it's an RPG. My TV luckily does support 120HZ / VRR so I was going to opt for the 40FPS mode. Wish more devs would do that. It's the perfect compromise between FPS and Visuals.

But then again, I'm not too much bothered about graphics to be honest. Gameplay and how much fun it is, is what most important to me. Nice graphics are a bonus though

you know I'm actually okay with 30FPS on most games with quality mode but im sure the 60fps guys will be happy to hear that!

Final Fantasy Resonance is Getting a Massive 120-Song Soundtrack

Square Enix’s upcoming Final Fantasy Resonance will feature the largest original soundtrack ever put to a Final Fantasy game, apparently featuring around 120 songs in total. We know that Resonance is a rework of the now-defunct mobile game, Brave Exvius, but Square Enix also wants to bolster the game’s soundtrack so that returning fans will have new songs to listen to. As for newcomers and Final Fantasy music lovers, it’s heaven.

Eurogamer reports that the Final Fantasy Resonance soundtrack from composer Noriyasu Agematsu will feature 120 songs, 33 of which will be newly recorded material. On that note, the remaining 87 songs will be carried over and compiled from Brave Exvius as well as War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. While it might be cheating to say that Resonance’s soundtrack will be “new”, keep in mind that Resonance is targeting a much larger player base than mobile, as several console and PC players will experience it for the first time.

The music will also be heard by plenty of fresh ears once Final Fantasy Resonance releases this October. For comparison, the second largest Final Fantasy OST is Final Fantasy X which contains 89 tracks. Final Fantasy VII has 85, while Final Fantasy VIII has 73.

The description for Final Fantasy Resonance reads:

Travel with companions bound by fate and call on Visions to aid you in battle to uncover the truth behind a force that threatens to bring everything to ruin. What if Final Fantasy had continued to push the limits of pixel art? The first Final Fantasy to join the HD‑2D lineup, Final Fantasy Resonance delivers a visually striking experience that feels both nostalgic and new, enhanced by dynamic camera angles and pixelized 3D models that make every moment more dramatic and immersive.”
