@Metal gear and Star wars fans - We just received confirmation from the official SA distribtuors that customs has not released the SA consignment of those releases. This affects both titles at all SA retailers.

We will keep you posted on progress - hoping to still have it for you guys for the weekend

Thanks for your understanding - customs is a butthead at times.

Had the strangest thing happen just now.

Got a call and I thought it was spam but then I saw it was a legit number. So I answered and these was a lot of static and as I was about to put down I faintly heard a girl's voice.

I was a bit paranoid because I watched the Japanese version of The Ring over the weekend again. So I said, excuse me. And then she spoke.
I got such a fright, and then I started panicking, and the voice said 7 DAYS again. And I thought my life came to an end? Told the voice I don't
want to die, and I didn't do anything wrong. So the voice just said 7 days again. I went cold to my stomach. The static came and went over the phone
and I was just frozen. And I again said, I don't want to die! What did I do wrong? The voice came again on the phone through the static, 7 days..................................until Blood Of The Dawnwalker releases.

@Darkwing - yeah sometimes this happens when the collectors is created by an external company. Happened with Borderlands and a few other titles.

Sony Sends Reminder Email to Gamers That They Don’t Own Their Digital Games

Sony has sent out an updated Terms of Use email that has highlighted the recent changes to the company’s regulations. Most notable is the addition of digital licenses and the fact that gamers who purchase digital content on the PlayStation Store don’t actually own the content.

The latest terms have added definitions for the terms “ownership” which specifically highlights what you do and do not own when it comes to purchasing games on PlayStation hardware. The terms cover both digital games, as well as online titles which may suffer from End of Service termination after release.

Section 13 covers these PlayStation Store purchases specifically. Under section 13, Sony clearly stipulates that when you purchase a digital product from the PlayStation Store, users are purchasing a personal license to use the product for private use. You can use the license but you do not own the product.

It reads:

PlayStation Store Wallet to your PlayStation Store Wallet:

13.5.1 You buy a personal licence to use Digital Products for private use. Your licence to use Digital Products is not transferrable unless your local applicable laws say it must be.

13.5.2 This means you can use a Digital Product in the ways described in the licence but you do not own the Digital Product.

Later down the contract the terms are further elaborated on specifically around revoking these licenses. Section 3.2.2 covers online games saying:

3.2.2 The Software is licensed to you on these Software Terms; it is not sold for you to own, and you understand and agree that we may end online and network features of a Software that uses online servers (“[i]Online Services“). We will provide reasonable advance notice of any end of Online Services. If we discontinue any Online Services, you may still access any offline modes we provide for the Software; however, offline modes are not guaranteed and may change or end at our discretion.[/i]

But the Software EULA clarifies how much ownership users have over their purchases. It reads:

“You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and personal license to play or use the Software for your private, non-commercial use on the system or device it was intended for.”

This means that Sony, and in other regards, third parties essentially own the license you purchase from the PlayStation Store and this can be revoked under the Software Terms.
