Walker-Jay "ShushieBushie" Rossouw wore an EVO shirt to his interview and consistently asked his fellow peers if they want to throw “fisticuffs”. We assume he was possessed by the EVO spirit.
He is a highly creative content creator who also dabbles in graphic design and sharing his eccentric personality with the rest of the world. SushieBushie is one of the great minds that came together for Creators Ball. We got the chance to interview him and give you some insight as to what makes Walker-Jay "ShushieBushie" Rossouw tick.

What inspired you to be a content creator?
Creativity. Basically, just sitting and creating content on your own. You know, watching these movies and looking at their content. It’s not about their end content, but rather, the inspiration behind it. The internet is a beautiful place and people have creative minds. It’s art.
Who are your inspirations, and why?
Myself - because if you need someone to inspire you, then don’t start. It’s got to start with yourself. You should learn from other people, but inspire yourself.
Why? How many times have you said you want to do something and just don’t do it? You've seen somebody else do something and never get up to do it, despite telling yourself that you will. If you really want to get something, you have to see what your capabilities are (Gandhi of the 21st Century).
What type of content do you create?
I create ShushieBushie content. I stream a little, record content, and make some graphic designs. I mostly just do whatever I feel like.
What would you do to further your field in the South African entertainment industry?
My main goal is to ignite the community. I currently have a campaign called “ShushieBushie Takes On ZA”. I challenge other content creators to 1v1 me in any game they’re willing to play me in. It doesn’t matter what game it is, but I want to take them on. It’s to prove that these players are still very approachable. They’re humans too. They are taking seemingly a noob at their game, and are still there to have fun and makes memes with me in a game I know very little about.
What prompted you to participate in the Creators United?
I helped start it (he looked at me with a determined face). I jumped in to help because I believe in unification. People can come together and unite themselves and a community to help a greater cause.
Have you ever worked with any charity events before?
I have done my personal stuff, not for content creation or anything. I used to help a primary school by playing with them, providing where I can, cooking if needs be (he may or may not have given them food poisoning).
When you’re not a content creator/superhero, what do you do in your daily life?
Create content.
What are the greatest difficulties you’ve faced being a content creator?
The struggle for being in South Africa. South Africans haven’t been exposed to South African content enough. They have the knowledge of international creators, but it’s a case of not knowing who we are. We need to unify them to watch local content, and know who we are so that we can attain that international level too.
The element we have above the rest of the world right now, is the fact that we are unique. The world sees our accents as sexy (currently rated as the second sexiest accent in the world at the time of this interview going live), and that’s something that gives us a new edge. We have so many good content creators and they are just taking it to the next level. It’s impressive and the world needs to know.
How did you feel when your content was appreciated for the first time?
It’s more of an every time thing. When someone tells you that they miss you and love what they see for the very first time - it’s very euphoric. You’re putting yourself out there and it makes you feel good that this idea you had was enjoyed by others.
What is your ultimate goal as a content creator?
To unify people. I’m not doing content to be big, man. I don’t want… if it happens, it happens. That would be great. I want to get better at my craft, but I want to see other people make it big. To see someone I supported from the start to make something of themselves. I do have my own goals, but they’re only there to better myself.
Will defend anything Dragon Ball. Occasionally has two-way conversations with himself. Has sleepless nights about Half-Life 3 confirmed.
