In today's Creators United interview, we have Alastair “NoirRaven” Fenner, a beloved member of the Molecast Crew. Alastair is more of a hands-on guy, who loves to edit video content, as well as play board games. We had the privilege of chatting to Fenner about his inspiration, challenges with time, and his involvement with Creators United.

What inspired you to be a content creator?
It is something I enjoy and I watch a good amount of YouTube content, and I am more of a video editing guy, so it's something I love to do.
Who are your inspirations, and why?
My inspirations are guys like JackSepticEye, who use their position to make the world a little bit better.
What type of content do you create?
We create board gaming videos, as well as video content on event coverage such as ICON and GeekFest.
What would you do to further your field in the South African entertainment industry?
I don't really have the mind for that, to be honest, because it's not something I really think of. That's more of a leaders thing.
What prompted you to participate in the Creators United?
It's a good opportunity to help charity and to just have fun with the community as well.
Have you ever worked with any charity events before?
No, I haven't, honestly
When you’re not a content creator/superhero, what do you do in your daily life?
At the moment I am studying, trying to better myself, and I play games just to have fun.
What are the greatest difficulties you’ve faced being a content creator?
Keeping a schedule, and getting videos out in time, as well as editing in a timely manner, it can prove tough when you try to balance everything else as well.
How did you feel when your content was appreciated for the first time?
That was amazing, we met our first fan at a convention, and it was just so incredible that somebody who wasn't a friend of ours knew who we were.
What is your ultimate goal as a content creator?
Just to put something out that people can enjoy and have fun with.
Loves games with deep character development and a rich storyline. Also, shooty-shooties. Loathes microtransactions. Likes to use sarcasm and metaphors.
