Doom: Eternal... Mmmm...
Starts of exciting, then becomes a drag. Flippen rubbish jumping sections. Some of the battles are really just to much. And I have to agree, the last boss(es) are made of suck. Story also goes from cheesy fun to serious WTF dumb.
Worth a look, but NOT for everyone

Doom Eternal
Awesome FPS!!
The jumping sections are not great, but once you get used to them, you will be jumping around like Spidy!
The ending did suck. Was expecting a big final, & Doom Guy just walks off...
Game did crash twice, & almost had a game braking bug just before the final boss.
Other then that, game runs real smooth (PS4).
Awesome game, but probably not for everyone. & by everyone I mean Teb & DG

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Finished it twice on normal back when it came out. & now again on hard, but felt like normal cause Raiden's stats are maxed out by now.
Short game, just under 6hours, but still holds up well.
The cutting mechanic works very well, & lots of fun!

Doom 3 BFG Edition
10hours 57mins
Even better the second time around!
Game has aged very well, considering it originally came out on PC back in 2004!
Only real problem is having to cycle though all your weapons, to get the one you need.

Rage 2 Plat on Ps4. Well it was fun! I'm not sure why there was so much negative around the game, it was not bad at all. Some repetitiveness on the missions but in the long run it wasn't that bad! had allot of fun.

One minor problem... there are the Spy Drones.... you need to get 30 of them out of the 40 for the platinum trophy but each drone has up to 3 locations they can be... and there is no set time or location to work from. Also, the reports on them are random so you can't work around report numbers and locations.. added about an extra 7 hours to my life.... but hey, not bad!

Doom 1993
The BFG Editon on PS3.
After playing Eternal, & now the very first one. You realize just how much the Doom games have changed, & how much they have stayed the same.
First time I've actually sat down & played the first one from beginning to end.
I get the bunny reference now lol

Streets of Rage 4 - Great game, awesome art style and game is very smooth and fluid, love the combat system, wall bounces, OTG's, juggles, everything you could want in a game like this.

Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain - Horrible controls. Piss poor mission design. Extraordinarily tedious. Just gave up.

Doom 2
BFG Edition
Pretty much the same as Doom 1, just a few new enemy types & one new gun.
But the maps are a lot better, more open.

The Chronicles of Riddick Escape from Butcher Bay
Having recently played other games from the same era as this one. I can say its still fun to play, but its not aging very well.
You have to pay real close attention in this game. It does not hold you hand, & you will get lost.

@KF500 - I remember spending like 2 hours roaming the mine-looking area under the prison before I got back on track. It looks rough these days but still love the setting, characters, and stealth.

I didn't play the 2010 one, but I thought Warfighter was pretty good. Better than the latest CoD's at any rate.

The Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena
Better then the first game.
Games feels a bit smoother, & you're not running around in circles this time.
On the downside, theres no side quests like in the first game.

Lego The Incredibles
This was lost of fun! The wife and I love Lego games. Now we are on Free-play to finish up the last few Ps4 Trophies. Love the characters from Pixar in the game. Only problem now is that we have like almost no Lego games left to play... and with Star Wars being a no-go it looks like we have to wait for Tt to make a new one....

Not all on PS4/Ps3 some on PC.
Lego Worlds and that toys to life thing no.

I only have Lego City Undercover left and then The Lego Movie Tie-In games (But i don't want too)

It's some of the only co-op games my wife and I can play split-screen.

Hope that there is more on the way.

Condemned: Criminal Origins
Played this back-compat on the Xbox One and it's still one of my favourite slow-burn, horror games from last-gen, even if it's really a methodically-paced brawler most of the time. Interesting characters, slowly unraveling plot, unsettling locations, creepy enemy design, and great atmosphere. That said, I forgot how basic the investigations are and how combat-heavy the final hour of the game is.

Condemned 2: Bloodshot
I managed to hunt down a physical copy and dust off the Xbox 360 for this one and wish I hadn't wasted the effort. I don't what's wrong with Monolith Productions and sequels, but this managed to even surpass the sh*tness of F.E.A.R. 2. Like that game, it had a few great moments and refined some gameplay elements, but it's still 75% garbage that fails to understand what made the original great. Ethan is now the most generic gruff male character possible, villains are cliched, gunfights are common, and the story goes beyond stupid. For every good level, there are two crap ones. It's one of the rare sequels I immediately purged from memory before going back to play the original yet again.

Only ever played the second one, thought it was good. But like I say, never played 2.
Been think of getting a 360 again, so I can replay some of these games. & the odd ones I missed.

@KF500 - it'll depend on what you're after (I just keen to replay W40K Space Marine, Remember Me, Syberia 2, and Alpha Protocol) but I reckon the back-compat library is so large now that when the Series X comes around, Xbox One base/S models should drop in price and make for a good option for Xbox/X360 games
.
