Control

Excellent game and second only to Days Gone for my Game of the Year 2019. Mostly perfect experience with a few areas/situations that caused the frame rate to take a nose dive (I play on base PS4).

Otherwise I loved the story, combat, mechanics and lore. The game doesn't force feed you on what to do next like Jedi Fallen Order, which I loved.

Highly recommended and looking forward to the DLC.

This is a perfect example of how different people can pick up the same game and get vastly different experiences from it.
I found Control to be badly "acted", mediocre graphics and extremely annoying level design. Not a dig at anybody, I'm happy people enjoyed it, but I seriously did not. Good thing the industry caters for different tastes... mostly.

DBZ Kakarot
Just over 30hours.
Its pretty faithful to the anime, considering they had to fit the whole Z Saga into one game.
The combat is very basic, a bit on the repetitive side & a very easy game. You can make it harder for yourself, but why.
The sub stories range from good to annoying.
The random enemy encounters remind me of Yakuza. You just want to get stuff done, & these guys just keep on challenging you.
The Villainous enemies are fun. As you defeat them, more powerful ones replace them.
Games very glitchy when it comes to the sub stories though.
Many I could not complete, including the time machine with Trunks. After you complete the game, that lets you go back to do ones you missed.
Still a great DBZ game, but could have been better.

Still an awesome game, if a bit on the short side.
Cut scenes are a bit choppy, but the gameplay is fine.
Still waiting on the sequel though...

Wolfenstein: The New Order - How do you make shooting Nazis - in space too - such a long, boring, ardous chore?? MachineGames did. This was [censored] terrible.

SIMS 4

This was a free PS Plus game for Feb. I've never been into SIM games and this game actually made me dislike them even more.

Performance is questionable. Loading is exorbitant. Functionality is lacking.

Don't.

Just...don't.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo - It's very pretty, but that's all I can say about it now. Will have to see how the final product shapes up.

YS 8. Lacrimosa of Dana. Good game, story just takes a turn for the odd. I found the end... 1/10 to be annoying for some reason.
No idea what to play next... Thinking of starting a new run with Bloodborne. Maybe finish Surge 2 first... mmmm

Great game, even though its more of the same from the Trilogy collection.
It does get repetitive, but its just so damn fun!

Resident Evil 3: Remake

Really really good! I can't compare it to the original, because I was too scared to even complete the original's demo as a kid but this game was straight up awesome!

It also confirms just how much of a badass Jill Valentine is.

DOOM: Eternal - So I have to revise my opinion of Eternal. It's not a flaming pile of garbage. It's a spectacular flaming pile of garbage. A godawful last boss fight to cap off a godawful game. (Insert expletives here) Doom: Eternal.
