Aliens Infestation
Great little side scrolling game on the DS.
Proper Alien game, think it takes place after 3 or between 2 & 3?
Aliens make Alien sounds, Pulse Rifle makes Pulse rife sounds. Not that you use it, the shotgun is by far superior. Flamethrower works nice as well. Except for the final boss fight, then you use the Smart Gun & explosives.
As you play you find a recruit other Marines. If one dies, they are gone forever. & you move on to the next one, right where you left off. Even if in the middle of a boss fight. If you lose everybody, you restart at you last manual save point.

Plated Ratchet and Clank on PS4...

I was stuck on the races and those damn times... (and then you remember the Gold Bolt Cheats to slow down the game time and then Blam! Done! Also, I missed the Groovetron Tentacle on the Train in the beginning... so play through was just "kill everything with Groovetrons....

Skate 3
Dropped it after 4hours, couldn't play it anymore. Which is sad, as I was really looking forward to it
Coming from the Tony Hawks arcade style games. Skate is more a simulator skate boarding game. You can't just jump in, theres much training & practice to do.
The character customization is not great, the music is not great. Game still looks good though, aged pretty well. Some very nice open areas, with NPCs doing their thing.
The best part is being able to add a marker, where you can respawn.
So you are at the top of a long set of stairs. You want to trick down, fail. & have to go all the way back to the top to try again.
Instead you drop a marker at the top, & if you fail, you can just respawn back at the top & try again. Best thing ever!!!!
But I just found the game so boring & repetitive
oh well, back to THPS2

Marvel's Spiderman, City that never sleeps. Dlc was good, but short. Some fights become annoying, with jetpacks, rockets, and mini-guns all hitting you at once.
So many loose ends for Spiderman 2!
Have one more costume to unlock, just need to stop 9 or so crimes in the city from the main quest.

Going to miss this one...

MK VS DC
I know a lot of ppl hate on this game.
99.9% of the fatalities suck. Darkseid & Shao Kahn don't even have fatalities. The final boss is super generic, & not playable.
BUT, I still enjoy the game

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
Great game, really enjoyed it.
Only down side is, if you want to replay with everything carried over. You have to play on Legendary Difficulty. So will tackle that at some point down the line.
Just need to unlock the Hulk & a few costumes. Not that the costumes are all that great.

Super Mario Odyssey - Very good game, but the platforming in a 3D environment can be frustrating as well as one or two of the bosses. Started off in Guided/Assisted Mode, but that makes the game far too easy, recommend that you switch that off if you want some semblance of a challenge.

TNA Impact
Still a good wrestling game.
Arcade style, fast paced & still looks very good for a 10 year old game.
CAW is not good, & the story was meh.
You unlock moves, arenas & wrestlers by earning style points. But you are gana be playing for a while to unlock everything.
The reversal system is still the best in any wrestling game.
Petty we did not get a second one. Even ECW got two games lol

For the third time. Still awesome

Battlefield V
The 3 War Stories are pretty good. & great looking game as well.

Victor Vran (and the Motorhead DLC)

Wasn't sure what to expect from a developer that primarily makes city-builders but Victor Vran is great. A big focus on the "action" part of ARPG, so standing still and wailing on your enemies will get you killed from about the halfway point - bigger numbers will only take you so far. A bit too long given the limited build complexity, but mixing and matching Destiny cards (think passive abilities) with weapon combos is still fun.. The Motorhead DLC is simply more of the base game but tearing through mobs with guitars, pistols, and a heavy soundtrack was satisfying for a few hours.

Did come across one glitch though. Looked all over the net, & seems I'm the first to get it.
The last side mission you unlock "Da'at Yichud Artifacts".
You have to find 4 artifacts on the Lab X map.
So I found them, but now the game will not let me fast travel back to the catacombs to complete the mission.
Theres 3 ways to fast travel...
-Hold square & X.
-Go to the menu & select back to catacombs.
-Go back to the map in the subway.
None work for me

Darksiders 3. Great game. A shame it got such a lukewarm reception, though.

God of War. Excellent excellent game. Still need to go back and wallop the Valkyrie queen, but it seems it will take a lot of grind.

Dex: The Enhanced Edition. It's a really good cyberpunk RPG that delves into... THINGS...and apparently finishing the game doesn't actually show the full story, so I'm going to be playing it through again.

Gears 5 - Review incoming today, but you can check out the YT channel for some early captured footage. Game is really good and well worth your while. Sadly the servers weren't up to snuff from Friday so MP and even the campaign had issues. I only experienced the MP issues over the weekend and none of the campaign issues. Luckily I delayed the review to get some MP in so that dinged the score, other earlier reviews wouldn't have had these issues so they won't have mentioned them in the review.

Control - Pretty damn good.

Gears 5 - Boring and tiresome as[censored]. This and Halo are the perfect examples of not letting a franchise die by handing it over to less competent developers because of money.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. The main story, anyway. It was fantastic.. If this is what Bungie is capable of when freed from Activision's clutches, then I hope that they bring us more.

Borderlands 3

Great game, really enjoyed it
Only real negative I had was the final boss. Was an absolute joke, took it down in 5/10 mins first try. & the loot it dropped was junk.
Favorite gun was the hand gun, Legendary DUC.
