The Lion King Breaks The $1 Billion Mark
The Lion King remake had absolutely no problem crossing the $1 billion mark, and has even achieved the milestone in less than three weeks.

According to Vanity Fair, the original The Lion King grossed a total of $968.5 million, including $422.8 million at the US box office (not adjusting for inflation) in its entire run. To put this into perspective, the 2019 remake achieved more than the original in just 19 days. This makes The Lion King remake the fourth Disney film to exceed the one-billion-dollar mark this year. The other films to achieve this milestone are Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, and Aladdin.

I also saw the same hard plastic toys from when the original came out. I am so getting a Pumba and Timone and Zazu for my collection. Wow feeling old again... and its gone!
