Mortal Kombat 11 Story Trailer Introduces Erron Black, Cassie Cage, and Jacqui Briggs
It is safe to say that with every new piece of Mortal Kombat 11 info we get, my screams get more and more high pitched. To the dismay of many of coworker's ears, a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 just dropped in the form of a story trailer.
The trailer gives us a good look into how the team over at Netherealm Studios will be handling the time aspect of their story mode. We get to see a lot of legacy characters in their old attire, but we also get a good look at three newer characters coming to the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. Cassie Cage, Erron Black, and Jacqui Briggs will all be playable in MK11, with the trailer giving us a teaser into what they can do.
Outside of the cinematic cutscenes, we get to see a fatality from Jacqui and fatal blows from Cassie and Erron. It's fair to say that they haven't lost their flare since being showcased in MKX, but somehow, Netherealm has managed to make them look even cooler.
That being said, we will have to wait for the upcoming Kombat Kasts to see exactly how the three new characters will play in-game. The current confirmed roster sits at a total of fifteen characters, with a few more to be unveiled in the coming weeks. The trailer shows Kitana present in a lot of the sequences, so we may just get a Kitana reveal in the possible future.
Mortal Kombat 11 will launch on the April 26, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
