Apart from the mainline entries (which only really consist of three), you'd have to really digest all that Kingdom Hearts has to offer in its side content - which is somehow just as important as those pivotal mainline titles. Occasionally, the series does step off the breaks and lets fans relax a little with a few fun spin-offs, and now, we have a new rhythm game (or more accurately, a "theatrhythm" game) coming in 2020 called Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory. As one might expect, its gameplay is based entirely on rhythmic attacks and commands while on rails.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory does throw a few interesting spins on the rhythm game formula in that it embeds the combat of the game within the flow of the track itself. You'll be pressing well-timed prompts as they appear on screen, syncing up with your entire crew, and taking down hordes of enemies. The boss encounters look like they change the pace up a bit, taking the free-flowing rails away in favour of a button-pressing mania which isn't uncommon to fans familiar with certain mobile games.
