Horizon Zero Dawn's long-awaited sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, was finally reveal at the PlayStation 5 event to a warm reception from fans. Thanks to the reveal trailer, we got our first glimpse of the new world we'll be exploring, along with various locations never before seen in the previous game such as underwater biomes. Thanks to a recent short video from developer Guerrilla Games, we now know Horizon Forbidden West's large release window and some first details.

The video, titled Horizon Forbidden West - Guerrilla Talks, reveals a few more details about the upcoming sequel that we may not have known. The developer stressed that, thanks to the PS5's SSD capabilities, there would be little to no loading screens as you explore the world. This includes fast-travelling or checkpoint loading, which will all "virtually" be non-existent. The map itself will be larger than the previous game, and more densely packed with new biomes like the underwater areas. Along with the increased map size will come more wildlife - or, more machine life. There'll be an abundance of new machines in the world, some seemingly lifting direct inspiration from its dinosaur counterparts like in the first game. The machines won't be the only threats in the world, though, as new tribes (both friendly and hostile) will populate the map.
