After playing Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, I am looking forward to a new vampire game, that game....didnt work out the way I had hoped

Is Square would do a 1:1 remake of Final Fantasy 8 that would be great. But we know that Square won’t be able to help themselves so they’ll end up ruining it with crappy modern game design and bloat.

Final Fantasy 8 is such an amazing game and I want it to stay that way. Seems like most modern developers have a really lost their way.

Same here man, not interested in Revelation either. If you said to me 10 years ago that I’d feel the way I do now about Final Fantasy, I would have called you crazy.

At least the Resonance demo is awesome. I’m looking forward to it

Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Sequel Not Ruled Out Yet

2023’s Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves might go down as one of the most underrated movies ever made. We spoke highly of it a couple of years ago, and it’s surprising that it didn’t blaze trails at the box office. In fact, directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein recently admitted that the movie’s timing wasn’t so great. On the bright side, the door might still be open for a potential sequel, if they can find a new studio partner.

Speaking on The Discourse Podcast, Daley talked about the release timing of Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves being one of its biggest crutches. It released in March 2023, which was around the same time that The Super Mario Bros. Movie – which made $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office – released to massive fanfare. Keep in mind, this was also several months before Baldur’s Gate 3 launched too and opened up the mainstream eye to Dungeons and Dragons. Had Honor Among Thieves released after Larian’s game, it might’ve seen greater success.

As it stands, Honor Among Thieves only managed to pull in $205 million at the box office which isn’t bad but it’s not the numbers studios would rush a sequel out the gate for. Daley acknowledged this in the podcast, stating that Paramount passed up on making a sequel due to “financial” reasons. When pressed about a potential sequel still happening at some point, Daley replied:

“Yeah, absolutely. I think Hasbro is a big believer in it, and if they can figure out a studio partner to make it work, they’ll want to proceed. As are our producers. I mean, look, it’s something that is near and dear to our hearts in that we loved making the first one. We fell in love with the characters, and there’s so much potential in a sequel because the first act isn’t filled with exposition or introduction to this family that we’ve already become accustomed to. So you can kind of launch right into the story, which is really nice.”

Daley and Goldstein are hopeful that a studio will pick up the sequel. The original movie featured a rock-solid cast with great chemistry, including Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis and Rege-Jean Page, arguably the best character in the movie.

Fans can also look forward to a new Netflix Dungeons and Dragons series which will adapt the popular gothic-horror campaign, Ravenloft.
