The Lion King And Aladdin Classic Disney Games Are Getting Remastered
Two of Disney’s ‘90s classic games are getting a modern upgrade to takes us on a trip down memory lane. Disney has had their most successful year ever in the film industry, breaking records with five movies hitting the billion-dollar mark so far. They are now looking to transfer that success formula into their gaming studios by remastering The Lion King (1994) and Aladdin (1993) games.
Publisher Nighthawk Interactive, shared the announcement trailer on their YouTube channel, that highlights what new features and enhancements will be added to the two games. You will be able to play the games on full 1080p as well as switch back to the original resolutions for that nostalgia feel. Other features include Watch Mode – so you can skip to any level of the games – and a Rewind feature, to go back 15 seconds in time. You will also be able to play the Trade Show Demos, but most importantly, you’ll be able to listen to those banging soundtracks for full-on immersion.
The games will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 29th, for a cool $29.99 (plus-minus R450), and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.
