Picked up the Collectors Edition of Phantom Blade 0 from China. It doesn't come with the game though so also really keen to get the disc from you guys if are importing it. Game gives me Bujingai/Blood Will Tell vibes. The statue in the CE is stunning so I couldn't resist lol

@vector - we are investigating a courier solution for customers that order frequently. We unfortuanetly are a smaller indepedent company and as such we cant always amortise costs like the larger guys. Working on it though

If you haven't tried it, Mortal Shell 2 has an open beta you can download and try. I liked it a lot as well

Beast Of Reincarnation is very easy. I'm playing on hard mode and honestly, that feels more like normal to me. Normal and Story mode are laughably easy. Even a person in a vegetative state will be able to play it on those modes.

But I think even if you play on the lower difficulties, the combat and the world traversal is still awesome.

I suck at soul games so leaning more towards Beast of Reincarnation which I heard is more forgiving....

I think the 1st area of Best Of Reincarnation ruins the opening of the game. It's rather dull and seems generic. But at the end of the first chapter and some story things happen, then the game actually gets going. And the later areas are actually quite nice.

I like the combat as well and the traversal mechanics are awesome as well. Just like in Sekiro

Final Fantasy VII Revelation Will Connect With Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus

Square Enix has finally revealed a piece of information about the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Revelation that fans have been waiting to hear: it will connect with the animated movie, Advent Children, as well as spin-off titles like the Vincent Valentine-centered Dirge of Cerberus. In fact, Square Enix seems determined to connect all the loose threads in the expanded Final Fantasy VII universe with the upcoming game.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children was a full CGI movie released in 2005. Acting as a direct sequel to the 1997 game, it takes place in the reformed city of Edge, formerly Midgard, where Cloud and Tifa run a courier service together. However, an incurable disease called Geostigma begins to affect the children in the city, and the sudden appearance of three familiar individuals sends Cloud on a personal journey.

The movie was well-received by fans, especially for its flashy action sequences which still hold up incredibly well today. In fact, the final battle against Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII Remake was a nod to the final fight from the movie. Due to the “multiversal” nature of the Remake trilogy, fans wondered if Square Enix would more definitively link up Advent Children to the new wave of games. Game director Naoki Hamaguchi has an answer (via Ashif’s Release Notes):

“I see a great deal of that discussion. I’ve seen a lot of people discussing and speculating off the back of interviews with myself and with Kitase-san, ‘Is the ending of this going to connect to Advent Children?’ But it’s not a question. I don’t want to sit here and say it connects to this, it connects to that. But obviously, there are a lot of other titles within the 7 universe. So, we’re talking about Advent Children, we’re talking about Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core. And we want to bring all of those in and make sure we’re not leaving those out.”

“And then on top of that, once we have all of those in place, we’re looking towards the ending,” Hamaguchi added. “And then the question is, what kind of ending are we going to head for in Revelation that still has those ties? And I think that’s something that I really hope players will look forward to finding out.”

Final Fantasy VII Revelation is scheduled to launch in Spring 2027 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
