Do we think the delay for Control’s physical release will result in more SteelBook copies? One can hope...

Some nice console footage of Bloodwalker

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bm4fZjxeJk

Kinda bummed it's targeting 30fps or 40fps, even on PS5 Pro. But It looks good.

Yeah, originally all the boaxart said that too, but then the UK one changed.
Pretty sure most search results and AI are working on possibly outdated information.

Saints Row Reboot Announced for February 2022, Gameplay Details Revealed

by Sam Aberdeen on 26 August, 2021

Yesterday during Gamescom Opening Night Live, developer Deep Silver Volition announced the reboot of Saints Row, showing us our first look at the game's characters, setting and what we can expect from its action. While the characters do seem to be a deviation from the more seasoned gangster types seen in previous games, the core of the gameplay about building your gang seems to be intact, with first details revealed about its gameplay.

The Saints Row reboot will officially launch on February 25th, 2022 and will come to consoles and PC (via Epic Games Store). The reveal trailer didn't offer any gameplay, but thanks to Glitched who got to view an early gameplay preview, we have a better understanding of what to expect from this game's return to form.

"Players experience the game through a group of upcoming criminals," writes Glitched's Marco Cocomello. "At the start of Saints Row, players can create their own avatar that acts as the group’s boss. Slowly but surely the idea of the game is to take over the city while taking down the Los Panteros, The Idols and the Marshalls who all control certain districts. Think of a Kickstarter but with guns and death. Your company, The Saints, needs to make a name for itself and throughout Saints Row, this is your goal."

It looks like players will still have a decent selection of customization options, complete with a character creator at the start of the game. The idea still seems to be amassing a sizeable gang, as is tradition for most Saints Row games. The open world presented here is apparently the largest seen in the series, with several districts and biomes to explore.

You'll also have a large variety of crazy weapons to use, from rocket launchers to melee heavyweight weapons and more. Players can now also drive and shoot for the first time in the series, offering up new ways to tackle enemies and highspeed chases. There'll be plenty of main missions, side quests and activities to do while out in the open world, and thanks to the inclusion of playing the game in co-op, you can even do it with a friend.

Recent entries in the Saints Row series have all leaned into the "crazy" factor (just look at The Third as a sign), but it looks like Deep Silver Volition is dialing back on the crazy antics in favour of more action-heavy set pieces and car chases. However, it will still have its fair share of crazy, from using wingsuits to go-karts, helicopters, hovercrafts and more.

If you'd like to read the full gameplay breakdown, head over to Glitched.

Saints Row releases on February 25th, 2022 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
