PlatinumGames Teases Major Announcement Coming Next Week
PlatinumGames, the acclaimed developer behind titles such as Bayonetta, Nier: Automata and Astral Chain, are teasing what appears to be a major announcement coming in next week's issue of gaming magazine Famitsu (February 27th). This has caused the fanbase to erupt in speculation, from a potential update on Bayonetta 3 - or a release date - to hopes of a sequel to Okami, which has long been rumoured to be in development.

Previously, PlatinumGames also released a teaser website pertaining to the number "4", though it's anyone's guess what it could be. Three new projects are reportedly believed to be in development as well. The upcoming announcement could also be related to that teaser, with some believing it to be the long-awaited reveal of Drakengard 4 (though as some users have pointed out, that would be dependent on Square Enix).

There's plenty of rumours and speculation online right now, so we can't say for certain which one is a good lead. Regardless, we won't have to wait very long as the new announcement (seemingly a new major game) is only a week away, and things will be answered come Thursday, February 27th.
