New Saints Row Game To Be Announced in 2020
It's been a while since we've seen the Saints Row series grace the gaming world with its unique brand of cartoonish violence, devilish sense of crude humour, and admittedly entertaining gameplay. Saints Row IV, along with its expansion Gat Out of Hell, was the last time that the series held the spotlight. However, THQ Nordic confirmed a few months ago that a new Saints Row game is well in development. Now, parent company Koch Media has confirmed that the potential fifth game will be revealed next year.

GamesIndustry.biz spoke to Koch Media CEO Klemens Kundratitz, who confirmed that the next Saints Row game will be announced in 2020. "Saints Row is very close to our hearts, and we'll talk about it next year. For the time being, we just wanted to get the word out that it's coming and it's going to be great."
It's very likely that the next Saints Row will be announced at E3 2020, as that seems to be the perfect stage to reveal the return of the once beloved series. Additionally, THQ Nordic could also opt to reveal the game a few days before E3, as this year they announced Destroy All Humans! Remake and Darksiders: Genesis a little while before the big show. However, this is just speculation on our part as they could also reveal it in other ways, from a State of Play to even announcing it as late as Gamescom or The Game Awards next year. No definitive timeline was given on when we should expect the announcement, so we'll be holding our breaths.
The next Saints Row is currently in development.
