Microsoft Discontinues Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition
Xbox has a big week up ahead, with the upcoming anticipated Xbox Games Showcase planned for July 23rd. Xbox has confirmed that we can expect to see gameplay from the campaign of Halo Infinite, plus more new game announcements and updates on existing ones. Ahead of the event and the inevitable launch of their next-gen console, Xbox Series X, Microsoft has announced that they will be discontinuing the manufacturing of the Xbox One X as well as the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. The Xbox One S will continue be manufactured.

In a statement to The Verge, a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed, "As we ramp into the future with Xbox Series X, we’re taking the natural step of stopping production on Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. Xbox One S will continue to be manufactured and sold globally." However, it's still possible that retailers may still have stock of both consoles in the coming months. "Gamers can check with their local retailers for more details on Xbox One hardware availability," said the Microsoft spokesperson. With the ongoing global pandemic, sales of consoles were halted for periods of time due to countries going into lockdown.
Meanwhile, PlayStation has already urged developers that from this month, all new PS4 games must be able to run on PS5. At the moment, Sony has no plans to cancel any iterations of the PS4 console, with the company releasing two major exclusives, The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima, back to back in June and July. However, Xbox is looking on the horizon as they're promising big new first-party games with all their recent studio acquisitions, including Ninja Theory and Obsidian Entertainment. We're hoping that they'll have a lot to show come July 23rd when the Xbox Games Showcase airs.

Problem is, the storage. Maybe Lockhart is cheaper, no disc with a built in storage, small to hold the OS and needed things. Buy cheaper Xbox and buy Expandable propriety SSD. Whole XB360 re-design again.

Sometimes i feel this "war" between Sony/MS and Nintendo is like an episode of 7de laan. Sony and MS argue over who gets custody over an IP/Exclusive and the weird cousin from years ago, Nintendo rocks up with his new love and says: Have you met Vanquished 2, Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3? I'm dating all 3 at the same time"
