Forza Horizon 5 Wins Most Anticipated Game at E3 2021
E3 2021 has come and gone, and it brought at least two great showcases with Nintendo and Xbox - and a handful of mildly disappointing ones too. Nonetheless, there were a number of great shows that offered a glimpse at new and upcoming games, though it seems like Xbox had the knockout presentation of the show judging by the numerous awards it won. In the post-E3 awards ceremony, Xbox's showcase came out on top, with Forza Horizon 5 winning Most Anticipated Game.

The E3 2021 awards took place shortly after the entire event, and awarded many games in different categories selected by a number of media outlets. While the event didn't take place in a physical venue which meant press couldn't necessarily have hands-on time with some titles, the trailers shown were enough to impress crowds. The overall Most Anticipated Game award went to Playground Games' Forza Horizon 5, which put on a truly phenomenal showcase of in-engine gameplay and jaw-dropping graphics. Xbox won the Best Presentation, and few could argue with that.
The editors of sites like IGN, GameSpot, PC Gamer, GamesRadar+, Game Bonfire, and IGN China all picked the most impressive games shown in each presentation, which you can see below:

It's worth noting that since Summer Game Fest wasn't technically part of E3 2021, Elden Ring wouldn't be eligible for these awards, which explains its absence. It won Most Anticipated Game in our hearts, though.
If you're looking forward to Forza Horizon 5, you'll be able to pre-install the game right now on Xbox Series X/S, though it will only release on November 9th, 2021 - including launching day one on Xbox Game Pass.
