Sony continues to drip-feed info about the PlayStation 5 following its price and release date unveiling earlier this month. While we're still left in the dark regarding many systems and features of Sony's next-gen console, including UI and a more concrete explanation of how backward compatibility will work, there seems to be some effort made by others who managed to get their hands on some of the PS5's hardware. Recently, a firm in Argentina posted a series of pictures on social media showing extreme close-ups of the PS5's DualSense controller.

Argentinian firm Evzen took to their Instagram account to reveal a series of images showing the PS5's DualSense controller up-close and personal. Some interesting design choices are highlighted, such as the surface of the controller having the iconic PlayStation symbols embedded in tiny detail (these symbols will also be on the surface of the PS5 console's white panels). We also get a better idea of the DualSense's texture, joystick, USB charging port, and gloss buttons. Check out the images below:
The DualSense controller will come with an abundance of features unique to the PS5 (which explains why Sony decided to scrap the DualShock naming convention). Some of the features include haptic feedback, extended battery life, the new "Create" button, built-in microphones and a 3.5mm audio jack, and adaptive triggers. Whether many third-party games will implement some of these key features remains to be seen, though we imagine Sony may only take full advantage of them in their first-party titles. Nonetheless, it's looking to be a fantastic new controller that's hopefully a step up from the controllers of the PlayStation past. We'll just have to literally get our hands on the device to find out.
PlayStation 5 launches on November 19th, 2020 worldwide.
