@BobTheThird - It's not something I'd jump on were it not for some life insurance/vitality payouts at the end of the year but I agree with Magius, it's not a bad price point for what you're getting.
I've no doubt it'll still fall consistently behind high-end PCs but it's a good match for the surge in 4K TVs and given MS's shift to the incremental model it's far less of a risk than a PS4 Pro. Sure the next console will be a step up, but you'll still get to play all the games, albeit it lower graphical settings,, and the devs will have done the tweaking for you.

I won my PS2 at work and swapped a PMI Razor paintball gun for my 500GIG Xbox360 and got my son Call of Duty edition Xbox360 for R800-00 with 5 games and a big box of Lego….
My son got his 3DS from ABSA Motor finance as they harassed him on his cellphone for outstanding payments and I threaten them that I will open a harassment case at the police against their directors. Part of the apology was the 3DS.
Swapped a limited edition 2008 Gencon exclusive Spectre figure for a 2DS…
I never paid full price for any gaming system…currently in talks for a PS4 and a Venter trailer for a mountain bike…

Add to that the unfortunate, but inevitable, announcement of a PS5 that will likely make the One X look like a fancy paperweight and I don't have much reason to get one. I have been eyeing the S though, especially with a potential price drop.

Got myself one of these bad boys, cause I'm worth it.
The controller itself is boss. Very well made, though to be honest I expected just a little bit more for the price.
Only mayor complaint I have is: to configure your extra paddles, you need an Xbox one or..... WINDOWS 10 !sick !sick !sick !sick
I spent way to long trying to get the ^&)^&)*) Win10 app to work. Just... sooo rubbish. And it was actually broken for a while. Microsoft broke their own app with an update.
Luckily, the internet came to the rescue with a brilliant program called reWASD. Total control over your hardware, easy use, no problem.
10/10 for hardware, win10/10 for software. Seriously M$, get your act together!
