hi I was at your store today and I saw a lot more games there then is on your website, is it possible at all to see all the games you have on your website or if there is a catalogue you'll can send me
@Dp - its actually been horrific with scalpers - We have to cross check peoples names, addresses and purchase history on niche releases as those guys buy up all the stock and resell at ridiculous prices whch are completely unfair to the normal consumer.
But yes - Pre-orders are on the increase as people realise how limited the physical edition releases of a game can now be.
We do try warn guys when we see limited availablity on new games too.
There seems to be a mass panic in buying physical games lately which is a great breeding ground for scalpers as well. I've seen a couple games release recently that have gone out of stock before release and even older titles which were readily available have all but disappeared and can only be bought at a premium price in the aftermarket. Likely going to see a big increase in pre-orders in upcoming months from people that want to secure physical copies.
Bagged a copy of Hellraiser Day 1 Edition. Game will probably be quite rare in future, print run seems limited. Folks on Reset Era say it's sold out most places.
First Man - Really enjoyed this, was so brilliantly done. Neil Armstrong seemed to have been a sensitive man, always imagined him differently. Wonder if he had Aspergers actually.
My son and I really want to go and see this movie, but with the looming exams, we will have to wait until he is finished. Just hope the movie still shows by then.
My son had the opportunity to go the NASA’s Space Camp in July at the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. He has now received an invite to go to the Johnson Space Centre in Houston Taxes next year March. His dream is to work for NASA or SpaceX.
Spy - still an awesome film, Statham and McCarthy dynamic is still brilliant.
American Pie Wedding - enjoyed back in the day, now it's just garbage except for the great soundtrack.
American Pie Reunion - a bit better than Wedding I guess.
Bad Grandpa - enjoyed this the first time around, not sure why though. Mildly trash.
Watched two excellent documentaries ..
Fog of War
I am Malala - the story of the young woman shot by the Taliban for going to school, their perverted ideology laughable considering who her father named after:
Vikingdom - wow, total garbage. Malaysian film on Vikings !? Laughably bad 'SFX' and props (Mjolnir looks like something from Toys R Us). High school level of professionalism.
Maze Runner The Death Cure
Finally got around to watching the last one, wasn't really worth it.
Its not bad just average, & 2 & a half hours long.
& its got the typical bad guys that can't hit the broad side of a barn lol
Trained solders, with high powered guns VS ragtag bunch of kids, with sidearms.
Solders dropping like flies, not one of the kids gets tagged.
I would love to know where the bad guys get their training. Storm Trooper Academy?
MIle 22 - Marky Mark as some sort of genius is just laughable. The monologues he gives to show how smart he is, were funnier than they were effective. Iko Iwais was brilliant though, he needs to do more
The Last Sharknado – It’s about time…ok, I am a fan of these movies, however, this was very bad, the worst of all the movies. Avoid it at all costs…even FutureWorld were better.
Crazy Rich Asians - Was a good movie. Not too camp but a good rom-com
The HappyTime Murders - Henson muppets meets McCarthy comedy, I will never think of Muppets the same way but it's not bad. Can be shocking with a few scenes. Unfortunately forgettable, sad. Movies that makes fun of the people who make them can be so good but missed opportunity with some 4th wall breaking jokes about puppets and hands...
Teen Titans Go to the movies - solid! Lots of fart jokes but Solid movies (for the kid in me)
