Nightmare Before Christmas -still a great film.
Mine - totally nonsensical garbage.
1) sniper 1.6km away gives his position away with lens flare
2) baddies rain deadly fire on their position from the same distance with iron sighted AKs
3) no rally point, no exfil plan
4) supporting character so inane and annoying that it is relief when he dies
5) the entire premise of the film is based on the fallacy that a landmine only explodes when you step off it rather than the reality of it immediately exploding when you step on it.
None of this matters if it was fun or mildly interesting - it was neither.

That do happen...remember that lens of the telescope shines like a mirror when the sun reflects of it. However, any sniper worth is salt will ensure this do not happen.
Just out of interest, did the sniper calculated the drop in velocity when aiming at a target so far away?

The dude is supposed to be a Marine Scout Sniper,which apparently is one level higher than a Recon Sniper. The lens flare occurred whilst repositioning the rifle even though it had a lens cap.
Just a series of comedy events leading to implausible premise.
The spotter did provide drop and wind speed.

Venom - As many have said, starts out slow but otherwise an entertaining movie. Venom himself was fantastic. My only critique is Anne is such an empty husk of a character, they could have easily given her more life. Either that or it's all the Botox Michelle Williams has had. Gosh someone took b****hy pills this morning
