USS Indianapolis - Pretty boring, even Cage couldn't save this one but shows how f'd up government can be in war.

Star Wars: Rogue One.

Some older films in my backlog ...

Chappie - initially I thought it was terrible until I realized it was a comedy. It was OK thereafter. Die Antwoord were terrible actors though (a cameo would have been better). Worth it just too see Wolverine (incl mullet) get a serious ass kicking Blomkamp needs to make a good film soon. This was better than Elysium but that is hardly a glowing endorsement.

Pacific Rim - Loud and stupid. Why was everyone shouting in this film?

Because maybe they thought it would distract everyone from questioning the crapfest they were watching.

^ Then they failed miserably. That scene in the elevator with No Name, Idris Elba and the two most annoying[censored] wits in the world was just [censored] excruciating.

I see it got quite decent reviews at the time, maybe I'm just getting old

@Scottie - I think it got a lot of attention from people wanting to see what Guillermo del Toro could direct and design in a sci-fi setting. The designs were awesome but ja, not what I was expecting after Pan's Labyrinth.

Inception - great, probably needs a second viewing to fully appreciate it (just like Memento).

Dambusters - great, didn't know George Lucas used this as the template for the Death Star run.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping - fun mockumentary by Lonely Island (Andy Samberg and co). Great cameos too.

10 Cloverfield Lane - great plus a great laugh on IMDb with the manosphere trolls.

The Lake House - Good movie, Keanu makes it great.

One Piece Film Gold - What an amazing movie, I think this may be my favorite One Piece movie, I loved the animation and artwork style, incredible.

Captain Fantastic
Pretty good. Its interesting to see a family living an off the grid life, something that I am personally aiming more towards for myself. The family in the movie do take it to the extreme and that is what a core theme that the story revolves around – when does being too self sustaining, introspective and ultimately disconnected from the real world stunt individual growth.

Swiss Army Man
Very weird movie. Not to be taken too seriously but definitely has a worthy meaning behind it too.

Star Trek Beyond
Entertaining. I love Star Trek and this was pretty good. Last 2 were better though.

Sully
Superb story telling. Clint Eastwood has become one of my favourite directors in recent years. Even though the audience knows the outcome of the flight I was at the edge of my seat every time they retold the event.

Everest
Was ok. I realise it is based on a true disaster story, but (not to be disrespectful to those involve) it was a little boring at times.

Over the last week --

Manchester By The Sea
Fences
Hidden Figures
Notes on Blindness

The Thing (2011).

10 Years.

Train to Busan - Good zombie movie but it was incredibly frustrating to watch due to a certain character who you just wished would die and it is quite bleak, shouted at the screen at the end and luckily it didn't end how I thought it was going to.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadows
I actually liked the first one, but this one not so much.
The big things for me were Rocksteady, Bebop, Casey Jones & Krang. & they were ALL a let down.

Star Trek Beyond
Not a real big fan of these new Star Trek movies. But they are still fun too watch.

10 Cloverfield Lane
Clever movie!
They said they will do more like this one. No prequels & sequels, but stand alone movies set in the same universe.

Hardcore Henry
I really enjoyed this one!
Takes a few minutes to get used to the cameras quick movements though.
Would have made a sweet game!

Bad Santa 2
Terrible...

Yoga Hosers
But wait theres another one coming, Moose Jaws

Into The Night.

Vikingdom.

Re-watched Diehard: A Good Day to Die Hard, forgot how crap it is.

Daddys Home
Not as good as Will Ferrell's & Mark Wahlberg's last movie, The Other Guys. But still good!
A nice surprise right at the end made me lol

The Lego Movie
Honestly could not remember if I watched this yet or not. Still fun though, can't wait for the Lego Batman movie !bm

Jack Reacher whatever the 2nd one is called - How did this even get approval?

I watched Star Wars Rogue One and i must say that i thoroughly enjoyed it!!! I love how they explored a bit more of the Star Wars Universe which is what i love about the series.

I still need to watch Doctor Strange when i get the time.

28 Days - Old Sandy B movie with a couple of cool people in it too, like Alan Tudyk and Steve Buscemi. A good laugh

Justice League Dark - enjoyed this, good movie
