Shysters and beancounters, the present day occultists (sorry Magius).

Okay

The Monster - Surprisingly well made movie about a mother and daughter stuck on the side of the road that runs through a forest, who have to deal with a monster, both literal and figurative. Surprisingly tense for a movie which is essentially about two people stuck in a car.

Mechanic: Resurrection - Entertaining, I suppose.

Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children - Uhh, yeah.

The Huntsman Winters War
The first one was surprisingly good, this one not so much. But still worth watching, if you watched the first one.
The fight at the end was good! Venom

Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell - Please Marvel, just stop now. Your animated features are beyond painful. Oh, and hire some voice actors with actual range and depth, and writers that understand all your characters aren't supposed to sound the same. Loki, Nightmare, there really isn't any difference between them anymore, and not just because it's the same voice actor for both characters.

Self/Less - nonsensical rubbish that managed to be quite entertaining.

No Escape - massive plot holes but like the above decent viewing.

The Purge Election Year
Not bad.

Arrival - Quite a different movie and I think being a parent opens up a different level of feeling towards it.

Snowden - Was a decent watch.

Snowden - Really enjoyed it

Arrival - Feels

Queen of The Damned.

Aliens Vs. Predator Unrated.

@DG I thought only the second AvP was unrated?

@Knight
Nope, the first as well. Not as unrated as it should have been though, but they were aiming for a lower age rating, unlike the gore sequel.

Jason Bourne - what a pointless film. Bourne is dead to me now.

Ghostbusters - fun film, lightweight story but offset with great meta references (at least two aimed at the internet legions of the emasculated). Better than Ghostbusters 2 . Great cameos too (Ozzy LOL).

Jason Bourne
Not bad.
Like with the previous movies the action/chase scenes are always good.

Underworld: Blood Wars - Damn movie ticket prices. . . Holidays = higher. Anyway, entertaining movie, felt very much like a videogame, but also a bit of a return to the feeling of the first 2 movies. I wasn't bored, so that's a total plus.

John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness.

君の名は (Your name)

13 Hours The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi- pretty good, the night cinematography was breath taking, particularly the machine gun's trace rounds. Pity the film was used as a political football during the elections it came across as quite apolitical.

Star Trek Beyond - fun, Spock and Bones interaction was the highlight. Terrible baddie though.

Suicide Squad - thoroughly enjoyed it. Great soundtrack too.

Boomerang to Diablo: "What's that crap on ya face mate, does it wash off?" LOL

The Accountant - Being one myself it was amazing to see how they tried to make accounting interesting and fun. That part of the movie was absolutely impossible. Other than that it was a fun action film and Affleck played the main character very well. The action sequences were great, almost John Wick like especially that final sequence. The twist though, saw that a mile off. All in all a good action film, maybe we have an old school action film revival happening with this and John Wick and Deadpool, to a lesser degree.
