@ElderofSmoke

I first want to know if it's fully on disc. If it is, I'll pick it up in the near future.

Valor Mortis’s premise and gameplay design is right up my alley. It looks decent to be fair. @IkariX, are you picking up a copy?

Must-have physicals for me are - can be on any platform, but I'd buy these the moment they're announced:

End of Abyss
Phantom Blade Zero
The Drifter
Mina the Hollower
Look Outside
Silver Pines
No Rest for the Wicked

@Cathal

That's a bummer. I might give it a pass then. As much as I love Metro, this is just dumb

Their feedback on someone asking if the game will be on disc:

"METRO 2039 will require an initial download as the game does not fit fully on one disc. To make sure our community gets to experience the game at the same time, you will need an internet connection initially to unlock the game. The game does not otherwise require internet."

@Magius
If I'm not mistaken, in the very beginning Batman did actually kill criminals as well, until the no killing rule came about much later. I think the first year of his comics run had him killing people pretty ruthlessly. I think there were a couple of instances in later comics that he did intentionally kill as well.

*Couldn't get the image of him hanging someone from the Batplane to load*

I think we also have to say that Snyder doesn't get OUR version of the characters, rather than not getting the characters at all. They've changed so much from what they were when they were created, with each writer bringing their own take of the character, to DC's editors wanting them to be what they need for each new volume or post crisis world.

Hell, in the beginning, the original comics, Superman was a total tool. And now Batman, the comic version, is a horrible ultra-paranoid douchebag.

I think the new DC movie universe versions are a reflection of todays audience & times. Which is both understandable, but also very sad.

Batman vs Superman: Yawn of Justice

I unequivocally have found a director I no longer trust to make a full movie that is also a good movie. Just like Man of Steel, BvS was good for the first half and then lost me later on. My attention wondered off for the most part.

Ben Affleck made a surprisingly good, older Batman. Ignore the critics on this one, he did a very good job. Henry Cavil came in and did a stellar job at reprising his role as the second-most boring Superman on the silver screen.
Jesse Eisenberg is... a one trick pony. I wonder if he's a slightly manic megalomaniac at home too.
I think Gal Gadot will be a wonderful Wonder Woman in her own movie.

And for those who have seen it:

I can't believe all you had to do was say "Martha" in order to clear your name and have the Batman (renowned for his iron will and tenacious vendettas) chuck away his spear and befriend you like a gormless halfwit.

And now:

People know how I feel about Poe and Finn's sudden and inexplicably idiotic bromance in Force Unleashed.

Stupidman VS Benman….sorry…this movie was bad…so much wrong with the movie…

And Affleck killed another superhero for me…

Why do Snyder creates his own lore? He messed up the X-Men…

Ok was a good action movie but a bad superhero movie…Maybe DC need to move out of the darkness…DC comics use to fun…

Atleast we got Civil War to look forward too…

Batman Vs Superman
Not brilliant but not terrible either, it was okay.
Batman was awesome, Affleck did a great job! So did Gal Gadot, as Wonder Women.
Superman was even more dark & brooding then in MoS. & I think Jesse Eisenberg got the script for the Joker, instead of Lex.
Two best scenes in the movie were, the warehouse fight with Batman & Wonder Women’s entrance. When her music kicks in, DAMN!
The actual Batman/Superman fight was a let down. Although when you see them together on screen for the first time, its pretty awesome!
The biggest problem with this movie, its too long. They could have easily cut out about 45mins.
& Lois, so much Lois. Every time she showed up, I just went DAMMIT Lois!! The best part was when...she throws the spear into the water, & then had to go back to get it. DAMMIT Lois!!!
Then theres the desert scene with Batman…
SPOILERS!!!!
That come totally from left field, & no explanation after. I assume it’s a possible future, like the one from the Injustice Gods Among Us game. Setting up for the Justice League movie.
& future Flash warning Bruce in a “dream”.

@KF that scene could be a premonition as well as a fever dream, no-one knows. That I don't mond, nor do I mind the major criticism of t hat battle as I can see that desperate times may lead Bats to do desperate things, but damn Bruce has THREE dream sequences in this film, that's 2 too many.

Seems it was my weekend for bad movies…

The Hateful Eight – WTF…seriously…must be Tarantiono’s worst movie ever…try to make a western version of Reservoir Dogs…avoid…

Space Cop…wasted 90 minutes of my life

Creed – very good movie…for the first time you say how old Stallone really got.

Pan – just another remake of the Peter Pan story…watchable

And then all the original 1970s Planet of the Apes movies on TCM.

Peter Sellers' The Party – For the first time in years. When I watched this as a kid it never struck me that this was Peter Sellers with "brownface", and it never struck me how incredibly racist this film could be interpreted as.

That said, keeping in mind that it's 1968, and that it's older comedy etc, it a good classic to have.

Event Horizon – I was enjoying the sci-fi until it was no longer sci-fi but something else. Still worth a watch for Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neil playing opposite one another.

The Butterfly Effect – Watching it once a decade should be more than enough. Probably one of the most depressing movies in existence when you stop to think about it.

Deadpool. Was fun, but it felt a bit rushed. Could really have done with another 30 minutes run time!
Considering how much was made about the whole R rating, I really thought it would be way worse than it was. Some swearing, some amusing violence, but nothing to bad...?

Planet Hulk - Its nice to see something that isn't Batman or Superman. Quite nice
Daddy's Home - Another sort of mellow comedy from Will Ferrell - not too bad. Had a few good laughs.

Yeah this was pretty much the Damien show, showing off what a mini-Batman he is.

Also served to highlight just how douchey todays New 52 Justice League actually are when they were getting ready to fight a bunch of in-training kids, the idiot Titans, before the League even got possessed.
