The Order does a much better job however making sure they never get in the way of gameplay. In the Evil Within they were a good idea to ramp up tension by limiting vision but I often found myself struggling to pick up an item or hit an enemy at close range.

In the end though he also said that all PS4 owners should eventually buy the game at some stage. I laughed pretty hard at the staring of the pictures though.

You definitely can't fault his issues, and it's not a game for everyone, but his section on the lycan fights are a good indication of how the game can break if the player deviates from it's expectations.

In the two lycan battles I can remember, you're interrupted by them while in pursuit of a target. Trying to move through the area at the same time as fighting them off results in them coming from all sides. However as he pointed out, sitting in a corner just results in their AI routine looping from the same spot.

Overall, the majority of combat with the human enemies was challenging enough when played on hard (though I did notice friendly AI are there primarily for distraction, making very few kills) and his issue with shotgunners stems from the fact he never seems to use his "Blacklight" bullet-time in that entire video - a skill best saved for quickly dropping multiple or tough enemies.

Did you guys see the trophies for this game.
First play through I got 53%, all golds & silvers. I was like, wheres the bronze trophies? Checked, & there are none lol

I've played around 4 - 5 hours now, I can't add anything that hasn't already been said about the graphics, the game is just beautiful! I'm pretty caught on the story as well. The game play to me is very similar to UC, but the weapons for the era the game takes place in, is just too cool, very unexpected, which makes it even better.

My only gripe with this game is that it never feels like it's taking off, every time I just get into all the action, shooting things, blowing[censored] up etc a Cut scene comes in, breaking the "speed" a bit. It's almost feels intrusive at times.

All and all though...had I paid full price for this game, I wouldn't be disappointed at all, it's really a good game, how it got such bad reviews is beyond me. I must add though, the fact that I only paid R450 for this makes it even SO much sweeter Kinda makes me wonder if I shouldn't purchase more SP games 2nd hand

My rating so far is 8/10

The game is going for about R300 new in Japan atm... wonder if I should bite.

Nope, only get one for completing the game on any difficulty.
I found no difference between the normal & hard difficulties, on my play throughs.

Just saw a Photo Mode option pop up in the menu. Game just get updated?

Its a pretty cool mode too, you can instantly get rid of the player or AI characters. Everything else seems pretty standard as far as other photo modes go I think.

What ever changes you make in photo mode you can have applied to the game in real time. It's really incredible to mess around with and play a game in a style of your choosing.

I infact do (R215 brand new lol). You know, I thought this was odd... while The Order has awesome graphics what I am really impressed by is the attention to detail and when I saw the woman and her breasts, it looked weird.

Now I know why.
