@vernon - So, it seems there might be licensing issues on AOT 3's local release - We are seeing if we can get it Imported but sometimes that gets stopped at customs before it even gets here if there is a licensing conflict.

Recently had that with Halloween Collectors edition (had to go back to supplier as they werent allowed to export it out of UK).

@meh - we do get from Limited run as well - just like Susper Rare games but often we wait for confirmation if they will do a UK (PAL) release . But if you ever know for sure you want and dont mind the limited run USA edition, please PM as we will gladly bring it in for you.

We presently have requests on the new He-man game from limited run (collectors edition.

Clear River games is release a std edition UK version which we will also list shortly

Any chance of getting more imports like limited run games? I'm super interested in terranigma's release but I don't want to deal with importing myself

Thanks for always having a diverse selection of games to choose from, my personal opinion is physical is always best.

On that note @Tea, can we perhaps get an ETA on that Attack on Titan 3 Steelbook, heart wants to be dedicated in December

Also - A note for everyone that makes use of the import niche titles we orffer. We are in the process of adding a tag to all import items so its clearly definied when a title is not supplied locally, rather is imported.

We always support local releases - but were those releases are cancelled or the title is not sold locally, we will do our best to provide you with those import releases

Opinions on Gaf are mixed as well, some people are enjoying it and some people are not, seems like one of those games you need to play for yourself if you find anything about it interesting.

Def gonna get this once I get a PS4 too (By then it will most likely be a tad cheaper). I'm a huge fan of the Steam punk aesthetic in games...

@ Blazen - there just isn't a more beautiful next gen game out there, and the steampunk / lycan setting is actually refreshing

I think gamers forget that some people like heavy cinematic incorporated in their game's story telling mechanic and that the story doesn't have to solely be told through a gameplay mechanic.

For example, everytime a metal gear solid launches, we get people wanting to return it as they just hate the amount of exposition in the game told through cutscenes (or even codec scenes) but on the other hand some gamers, like myself, relish it (when contextually relevant).

As DP mentioned above, there are many gamers that are really enjoying the game, so The Order 1886 has become another clickbait "targeted" title that is in a position where it's best you make up your own mind on it !bm

So far I have thoroughly enjoyed this - can't see why some douches complained. I hope they haven't spoiled any chance of future sequels. What a great steampunk world - massive potential here.

So for those worried about QTEs - don't, the vast majority are simple button presses to lend a certain interactivity to the cutscenes. I [censored] hate QTEs and these are not an issue at all.

Only a few criticisms - not enough exploration (so many locked doors) and too few collectibles. Plus the cinematic aspect presentation leaves two black bars top and bottom. Could be annoying if you have a dinky 32in TV but not an issue on a 46in

So far 8/10 and plenty long enough ...

Probably because people have different tastes, don't see why that makes them a douche.

Get rid of the black borders

@ Dp - the black borders thing is really only an issue if you are playing on a 32" or smaller. I forget about them within a few minutes of playing (like you do when you are watching a movie)

I think scottie means the "douchey" reviewers that might be putting out low scores as click bait as opposed to fair reviews !bm

Only game I played with black borders was Dragon's Dogma, I don't mind them but given the choice I definitely wouldn't want them. It's just a way for them to get better fidelity in some games rather that than poor performance.

I agree about the borders not being my preference but I think for the pay off in The Order 1886. Its worth it. Small price to pay for a game that looks and runs like it does

Yeah it did nothing for DD though game still had performance issues lol but still an all time fav, they actually have a poll on gaf for it:

Would you like to see more console games use black bars if it also means increased graphical fidelity for those games?

Just to make this clear, I am talking about aspect ratios similar to what is seen in The Order (1920 x 800) - maintaining the native horizontal lines but reducing the number vertical lines to be rendered

YES ---------- 12
NO ------------ 144
DEPENDS - 25

haha - That's quite a clear result. I think most gamers play on a 32" so I can understand the "no" being the most voted for.

What an awesome game. I don't know who the[censored] could complain about length, I never timed it but ~ 10+ hours would be a guess. Re-playability would be exactly the same as something like Uncharted so don't get that criticism either. My educated guess would be a plague of douchiness going around.

So ...

Visually gobsmacking
Good weapons, although the limitation of only one rifle results in the early abandonment of any steam punk weaponry. Pity because it is awesome.
Good story with steampunk vs. supernatural elements
Great Universe, would love to a sequel in America or India plus airship-gunship would be awesome. 8.5/10 (I would have given it 9/10 if it wasn't for the QTEs, they are not hard but really a QTE stealth kill

Lighting !love

I just want to know 2 things:

Is the story and voice acting good?
Is the gameplay fun? I dont care if the gameplay is generic, I just want to know that its fun to play.

thanks

Just bought my copy. Really looking forward to giving this a go and hopefully it has an intriguing storyline

Will probably play it on hard to get a little extra game time out of it.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, even though the story feels like a prequel to a much larger game (which I hope gets made). Keen for another playthrough on "hard" while using a guide to find all the collectibles (which do a great job of expanding on the world and lore).

I somehow missed the game options page so went through on "normal" difficulty first which only presented a few tough spots later in the game. The game felt like a weird but enjoyable mix of Gears of War, Uncharted and Beyond Two Souls.
