Ironic thing. There is going to be an album for GTA6. And it will be available on both CD and Vinyl.

So clearly it's about control for Sony and Rockstar, not wanting you to own games. But you can own a CD and Vinyl. Both are crappy companies. I really want to see Sony crash and burn so hard. But the way Sony is going, it might be sooner, rather than later.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remasters South African Pre-Orders Available Now

ORIGINAL STORY: As part of the first Summer Game Fest game reveal, the new 4-month long celebration of video games from The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley, Activision announced something completely unexpected: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remasters. Both classic PlayStation titles will be bundled together, and includes both games fully remade from the ground-up (which begs the question of if this should just be called a remake instead). Nonetheless, prepare for a blast of nostalgia once again.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 was announced earlier today at the first Summer Game Fest digital showcase (with Keighley promising a deep dive into another title tomorrow). However, the festival has kicked off - every pun intended - with quite a great reveal of two classics in the skateboarding video game genre. The reveal came with a short trailer, showcasing how the game has evolved from its original to modern times, featuring stunning new graphics and all the crazy style you've come to expect from the Tony Hawk's series.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 comes to us from Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy developers Vicarious Visions, who provided a few more gameplay details about the project via IGN. According to the developer, the game will include new moves not featured in the original game, building upon an already solid foundation. "We started with Neversoft's original handling code. We started with that as a foundation and then layered on what we needed to do to modernize it," Vicarious Visions studio head Jen Oneal said in the interview with IGN.

Along with adding new moves, the remasters will also include modern controls, but ensured that you can still switch between the classic and new controls. Finally, the games will still retain the hallmark missions and objectives like collecting SKATE letters and secret tapes, along with some added new challenges. "We've added more challenges to each of the levels that you can accomplish, some that are per skater for example," said Oneal.

Additionally (and exciting news for fans of old-school multiplayer), the remasters will include local split-screen multiplayer as well as competitive online play.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remasters will release on September 4th, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
