Final parts for my home server/general stuffing around system. Already have a CPU (i5 7600), Motherboard (H270 Gigabyte Gaming 3), PSU (Coolermaster 750W modular) all brand new and am scavenging a GPU from one machine (GTX960), while putting in my old 980TI in that system. Bought a Coolermaster Masteliquid 120L AIO at rAge so now have everything.
two 4GB sticks
Corsair 750D, wanted a full size case with space for a ton of drives as I want to bring all the drives (8) from my two microservers into this machine. Basically, want it to be a homeserver/everyday PC/media hub. Microservers will be retasked for backups of important data.
@Teb be warned the case only comes with two 3 bay drive cages and finding additional ones are tough. I managed to buy two more off rainforest UK. Also, the case comes with no dust filters WT Serious F these days?!
The way the cages are stacked in that picture I posted cuts off airflow from the two front fans. For my purposes that shouldn't be a huge issue as I have an AIO for the CPU and will mount the fan and radiator on top, but I am planning on sticking in a GTX 960 and that may be a problem if I don't get enough air through the case.
Other than that the case is roomy and the amount of drive mountings is insane. The rear of the case has 3 or 4 2.5" mounts so theoretically I can stick in 3x4 3.5" HDDs and another 4 2.5" HDD/SSD combos. Add in a 5.25" to 3.5" bay convertor and that could add another 3 to 4 drives. I may have to look into a PCI-Express expansion card as my mobo "only" supports 10 drives!
The only real criticism I have is that the PSU is not covered by a PSU shroud.
