Razer have always been ahead of the curve when it comes to aesthetically pleasing, ergonomic and quality products. The wireless DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed - or better known as the little, affordable brother to the DeathAdder V2 Pro - is no different, but there's a lot more to it than meets the eye.
First and foremost, the design is striking without going overboard. It's sleek, curvy frame ensures an extremely comfortable grip. Those who tend to game for extremely long periods of time (like I do) will find prolonged usage quite pleasant and without the any cramping.

When you open up the box, the DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed comes neatly packaged with a AA battery. Of course, one of its big features is being able to use either AA or AAA batteries, and this is important since it eliminates the need to constantly stock up on one type of battery (especially if you find cheaper alternatives). This also affects the units weight, which increases from 77g to 100g with a AA battery inside.
If you clip the frame off the mouse, you'll see the battery slots and a HyperSpeed USB dongle/receiver neatly tucked into its edge, which you can use to connect the mouse or alternatively, connect it via Bluetooth. I'd recommend using the receiver since it offers almost zero latency. On the underside of the mouse, there's a simple switch that allows you to click quickly between Bluetooth or the receiver, making it quite easy to use.
Razer entirely removes RGB from the DeathAdder V2 X HyperSpeed which increases battery life and doesn't annoy those who want to game without a rave party beneath their palms.

Razer decided to change the position of the DPI buttons - which are usually found beneath the scroll wheel - to the left side of the mouse.
