Pretty lame that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and 2 for that matter are just the switch games in a Switch 2 box with the upgrade pack. Would have been great if Nintendo released them as a proper Switch 2 release with the DLC in one complete package.

@Tea

Have you guys gotten any listing or pricing info from Nintendo for Xenoblade Chronicles 3?

I love how the RAM in PS5s is now worth more than the PS5 itself, so Sony are offering 400USD to buy it back from you.

No one cares about Sony's first party slop. So the delay means nothing

Think I saw PlayStation advertising their deals going live today, so I'm guessing PS games and peripherals will be going soon.

Prince of Persia Remake Shifted To Ubisoft Montreal

by Robert de Wit on 04 May, 2022

    2   1

The Prince of Persia remake has been shifted to Ubisoft Montreal from Ubisoft Pune and Mumbai following troubled development of the title which was meant to release early 2021. Ubisoft has also revealed that the title will release “when it’s ready”.

The shift to a new studio does not bode well for the remake as it has been delayed a number of times already since its announcement in September 2020. The first of which delayed the title from the initial January 2021 date to March – a month later though it was delayed indefinitely.

Ubisoft spoke again about the Prince of Persia remake in June 2021 stating that it would see the light of day in 2022 but then all updates on the game went pretty quiet after that. Ubisoft took to Twitter to announce the news of the development studio shift, citing that the remake is returning to “birth place of the epic Sands of Time trilogy”.

“The development of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will now be led by Ubisoft Montreal, the very birth place of the epic Sands of Time trilogy.

This decision is an important step and the team, building upon the work achieved by Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai, will now take the time they need to regroup on the scope of the game to deliver you the best experience for this remake of an all-time classic, when it’s ready.

We want to thank you all for your continuous support and patience throughout the development. Rest assured, that we will update you on the progress in a future update.”

Hopefully with Ubisoft Montreal – the original creators of the Sands of Time trilogy – at the helm we can see the Prince of Persia remake before the release of the next consoles.

One part happy, one part nervous. When it's a Ubisoft studio, the phrase "regroup on the scope of the game" worries me.
