Limited Run Games seem to be doing physicals of a lot of niche titles. It might happen eventually

@Zombia

I almost bought it digitally a few times on sale because I've always wanted to play it. But the DLC prices are a joke. So I'm glad to finally be able to own the full game + DLC in one physical copy. I'm still trying to decide if I should get the PS5 version or Switch 2 version.

It had one previously by Limited Run Games, this version has all the DLC expansions and improved performance though.

Need to sell my original version now.

Here's How Assassin's Creed Valhalla's Map Size Compares to Odyssey

by Sam Aberdeen on 12 November, 2020

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is out this week, and fans are celebrating the next Viking-themed chapter in the series. Once again embracing the RPG elements introduced in Assassin's Creed Origins (and continued in Odyssey), Valhalla features a truly massive open world with tons to do and see on your roads through Norway and England. However, while map size is never an indication of a game's quality, we thought it'd be interesting to try and contrast Valhalla's map size with that of Odyssey's, which is said to be the largest in the Assassin's Creed franchise yet. Does it still hold that title?

According to Game Rant, Odyssey's map covers 90.7 square miles. In comparison, it makes Skyrim's map seem tiny at only 14.5 square miles. One would think that Valhalla would attempt to one-up its predecessor when it comes to sheer map size. However, the results may surprise you. Recently, Twinfinite presented the measurements of both England and Norway (and also adds a couple of other smaller areas which I won't spoil, but they each clock in at 2 square miles and 0.5 square miles), and came up with a figure of roughly 38.5 square miles. Compared to Odyssey, that's quite small, right?

However, we have to take into account that Odyssey's 90.7 square miles is largely consisting of the sea. Take that away and we can pin the proper land mass of Ancient Greece at around 45 square miles. Even then, it's still a bit larger than the combined land mass of Valhalla's two maps. Origins, set in Ancient Egypt, clocks in at around 31 square miles, making it smaller than both Odyssey and Valhalla. So while Valhalla may boast itself as perhaps far longer an experience than Odyssey, its 2018 predecessor still has the high ground when it comes to map sizes.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is now available for PS4, Xbox One and PC, with upgrades available to PS5 and Xbox Series X.
