Hey @Tea, any chance you can organise a copy of Silent Hill Origins for me? Doesn't matter which platform

@IkariX it's a good thing IDGAF about your opinion then, lol
It may surprise you to know that other people have different experiences to your own. But I know that concept may be too far out of reach for you.

As for Nexus, I don't know why you ban people that have legitimate points relating to polls you create. None of what I said was out of line, but clearly you prefer sycophants like IkariX on the forum instead of customers who have legitimate criticism of your logistics (which you make us pay for).

Nexushub has the best customer service no doubt. I have had other retailers that don't care about restocking on sold out titles but yet nexushub helped get me townfall steelbooks and control resonant steelbooks even though they were sold out. No one cares about delivery fees as long as you get the physical game in good condition like I have, especially steelbooks which can be fragile.

@DarkWingDuck

I'm going to call [censored] on your post. I've been buying from Nexus since the AnimeWorx days from about 2008. I have literally never ever had bad customer service from NexusHub. So you are being disingenuous. I don't think you appreciate the great lengths they go to, to get these games for us. But enjoy your other retailers and their[censored] service.

MrOde very good point! I'd pay extra for express overnight shipping.

HaseoVII SAME regarding FF7Rebirth (best believe I preordered Revelation though

)

I am such a huge fan of Nexus Hub - no one else in SA imports the niche titles - I used to need to get my stuff from Amazon Japan/US

My backlog is so big I don't care how late I get my orders lol haven't even played FF7 Rebirth or even Stellar Blade yet, but that's just me.

I'd actually go even further and say do standard free shipping for all orders above R1000 but allow an express shipping option/add on for those that want to pay extra. I would gladly pay extra to get whatever I ordered the day after I order it.

Shipping costs on games? What's that?

I'm not looking to start a bad thread about this, I was really just curious because I misclicked the tab on the left and stumbled upon the poll (I'd never clicked it before).

I am fiercely brand loyal to Nexus Hub and I don't care too much about not getting a game day-1. I know other names like BT and Koodoo ship earlier so you get it on release, but I'd never be "that" excited that I must play day-1, life happens

On the other hand, paying an extra R150 every time you order a commercially available title does add up, and I would not blame the average consumer for trying to save some money.

I know I'd feel less off about it if there was a price match, and free delivery at a certain threshold.

I mean if I can save money, why wouldn't I?

Are there circumstances where I would pay that extra without thinking twice about it, yes. In general there's little reason to do so.

That said, touching on Darkwing's point of eBucks, payment options feel like a lot bigger point than the R50 delivery. Lot of places offering rewards, pay later, etc. Those are big pull points for customers.

Borderlands 3 to Show Off New Planet and Vault Hunter at E3 2019

by Sam Aberdeen on 27 May, 2019

Borderlands 3 is still the talk of the gaming industry, whether it's for flattering reasons or not. While we did get a good slice of gameplay along with the announcement trailer, we're still left in the dark about a couple of other aspects, namely new planets and a mysterious new Vault Hunter. Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford recently tweeted the news that the game will be heading to E3, and will have some new and exciting stuff to show off.

Pitchford broke the news in a tweet, which stated that Borderlands 3 will be at E3, showing off a new planet and new Vault Hunter, along with some new gameplay to quench our thirsts. So far, the game has revealed four primary Vault Hunters, so the inclusion of this fifth mystery hunter will surely be enticing.

Borderlands fans have a lot to look forward to at E3! We’ll be showing new gameplay, a new Vault Hunter and a New Planet! Attendees will also have a chance to play #Borderlands3 at the 2K booth! We may even have a surprise or two up our sleeves… EXCITED!
— Randy Pitchford (@DuvalMagic) May 24, 2019

Chances are, Borderlands 3's new gameplay and details will either take place on Microsoft's stage, or in the PC Gaming conference, since Sony has chosen to skip E3 altogether this year. Additionally, it might also take place in the E3 Coliseum event, which is where a lot of developers, from the likes of Infinity Ward to newcomers Netflix, will show off their stuff that might not have a place in any of the regular conferences. We will know more details closer to the time.

Borderlands 3 releases on September 13, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

@Scottie Thanks! I only played about an hour of Tales, been meaning to jump back into it. Will do before Borderlands 3.

Scottie

For those who haven't played, Tales from the Borderlands is canon and introduces some of the characters for this game

Blaze

@Magius The great disappearing man trick!

Magius

@Blaze given the videos he was retweeting last night/this morning I would rather he just effs off into the sunset with his millions

Blaze

@Magius Randy shows up on stage again and does a magic trick with Phil Spencer. They perform the ancient magic of bringing dead things to life. Boom! Scalebound.

Let's see what imagined slights Pitchford can create out of the reactions to this conference...
