Hi @Tea, hope you are well. When does Stellar Blade for Switch 2 come up for pre-order? Thanks

@Vernon

I like Crimson Desert a lot. It amazing, but I put it down because I got tired of the constant almost daily patches. So I'll restart it at some point in the future once the game's development is actually finished.

And I'm not paying the asking price for the DLC. I don't spend more than R180 on any digital game or dlc.

Crimson Desert is a close second, but that Story put me off a bit too much, but Gameplay and Exploration was equally satisfying, cant wait for Charting the Unknown next month

@IkariX

I am excited to see how this story develops. The lore, the world building, the Witcher Come Deliverance (stole this description but its perfect) combat, its just great, what an incredible game.

I even completely stopped playing Onimusha because I just want to do the next quest or explore the world, fantastic game, possibly my favorite so far this year.

@Vernon1711

I'm not getting Wolverine. I have no interest in Sony's 1st party slop, and even less interest in Marvel slop

But I am enjoying the hell out of Blood Of The Dawnwalker. I'm playing on Duelist difficulty, it's a lot of fun. Challenging but the fights are super fun. Boiling blood is just too OP, even on Duelist

Good Morning All

Happy Friday

I need this day to end to continue The Blood of Dawnwalker, game is addictive

Also, Marvel's Wolverine seems to be doing good on Metacritic, not great, thoughts everyone? I am still looking forward to playing it

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Remake New Details Leaked

by Sam Aberdeen on 17 September, 2025

New details have leaked for the long-rumoured remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag reportedly in development at Ubisoft. While the company has yet to make an official announcement, we’ve been covering various rumours on the remake for at least two years at this point, making it a pretty poorly-kept secret in the gaming industry. New details have now shed some much-needed light on its gameplay alterations and changes to the original game.

The latest leak comes from Jeux Vidéo Magazine which has gotten Assassin’s Creed-related reports correct in the past. The outlet unveiled quite a number of new bullet points about the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag remake. One of the biggest changes apparently coming to the remake is the removal of all modern day elements, instead replacing them with more content surrounding Edward’s pirate era (adding a few extra hours of new content above the original).

The leak also claims that a major change is being made to the gameplay, specifically to shift it closer to the RPG-style of newer Assassin’s Creed games like Odyssey and Valhalla. As a result, the game’s inventory systems, gear, skills and even combat will also lean towards RPG-style rather than the original game’s choreographed action. Reddit user ZamnBoii translated and summarised all of the main talking points in a recent thread, which you can view below:

- The remake removes the modern day and replaces them with more content in Edward’s pirate era (a few extra hours compared to the original)
- Gameplay will shift closer to the RPG-style of newer AC games
- Loot and gear stats for Edward
- Inventory systems and combat leaning toward the RPG style rather than the choreographed combat of the original
- No loading screens when moving between ship and land
- Map is not bigger, but islands will be filled with more activities and side content
- Expected to include cut content from the original, like parts of Mary Read’s storyline that were dropped in 2013
- It’s not on the same “big budget remake” level as Resident Evil 2 or Silent Hill 2, but more of a faithful reimagining with updates
- Uses Ubisoft’s new Anvil Pipeline engine (same as AC Shadows)
- Release window: currently targeted for early 2026 (likely March), though some sources think it could slip to late 2026
- They are reusing some assets from Skull & Bones to cut costs, but it won’t be obvious to players

As with all leaks, take this with a pinch of salt until we get confirmation via Ubisoft.
